For those still having problems, especially with the reservation expiring today, I would honestly just e-mail Tim. Even though I was able to get my order through last night, I just received a call right now from the executive relations team, saying they received my e-mail from last night, and apologized for all of the inconvenience. They explained that they have had some problems with the reservations (you don't say…), and they thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and told me to let them know if there are any further issues with my order. They were what I was hoping the regular Apple Support would be.
 
Well, my reservation expired about 40 minutes ago. I'm still trying, but nothing new. I guess I have to wait till October, or line up on the launch day...
 
If my reservation expires before the issue is resolved, I'm just going to keep checking the stock online at the Apple stores and try to reserve one online for pickup in a store. I did that for the 6+ and although I had to get the 128gb, I was able to get one not long after launch day for pickup in store.

I fell into a ring of fire and I'm burning burning burnin' on hold 90 minutes and waiting on hold.
 
Yah I log in, see the reservation information, click continue, then the checkout page says bag empty instead of showing me my order.

you might want to try private browsing mode or a different device all together. I found that it would remove it from my bag when I clicked ok on the popup deposit might be needed message and then it was gone from my bag but when I clicked on the reservation email link from my phone or ipad the whole process started over again and the device was in my bag. I was able to check out today but it sucks that it still hasn't worked for some of the die hard apple users that actually stayed up to order at 3 am.

Tried everything multiple devices too. Reservation expired now and still shows blank cart. Called Apple and told them to contact supervisor and restore my shipping priority in the queue and fix my reservation. Waiting for a call back. Never ending fun!

Clicked through the now expired link, get the "welcome back, you're late so we can't guarantee your delivery date, but we're happy to take your order!" page. So I give it a try, get about halfway through, and get "we can't process your order right now, try again later". Haha, wow!! :D

BTW...Rose Gold 128gb on AT&T is now showing 09/28-30 delivery, down from 2-3 weeks!!

Yup, REAL nice APPLE!!?? WTH do they even bother with this crappy system. It would've been better if they just gave you a "try again in a few minutes" prompt instead of false promise. Now we're going to be stuck making another $40 monthly surcharge on our NEXT account while waiting over a month for an iPhone that was originally supposed to be out on launch day. The old Apple would compensate you with a leather case. This new Apple just gives you the standard corporate BS.

I just received the new "important information about your iPhone reservation" email from Apple with new extended expiration date/time. I can't log in right now, so I can't check and see if they fixed the issue, but this may be a good news for those whom are stuck in this terrible loop! I'll update once I can try!

Clicked through, got to the part where you pick which Next plan you want, then got the "sorry, unable to complete your order, try again later"

Sigh. Well at least you have a phone in your cart I still have an empty bag. Colossal fail lol!
 
Right before the review of the order, I get the error. Ugh! I hope I can get through this before midnight tomorrow!
 
Well I processed my reservation and by removing US from URL it worked, but I didn't get it for launch day like it said when it said no worries we have a phone for you. I got 10/4-10/10 as a delivery date. Great system they have.
 
I can log in now without any problem, but I still get the error message right after 'review iPhone pricing' page. And there is no "US" or anything to modify in the address. Ugh!
 
Still nothing for me...I'm going to try chatting and calling once more today, in the hope that maybe they'll be able to help now (when I called on Friday afternoon the Apple rep was completely unhelpful...she sounded like she was a bit overwhelmed, too).

I'm sure they are so overwhelmed with various issues people are having. Some reps know about this reservation problem, and others don't at all. I wish they could come up with some other ways to honor our promised delivery date instead of trying to fix this web order issues...

I had the same thing happen. My email finally showed up after 10PM on Friday, and I was able to complete my order. My new 7plus will be here on launch day. This was after I spent over 2 hours on the phone waiting to speak with someone at Apple. They could not find my order and had me place a new one. They promised me expedited shipping and a free case. When my original order did show up I had to cancel the other order before I could complete the original one, but my phone is scheduled for delivery on the 16th now instead of the Oct 5-15th that the second order had.

The Apple rep was more helpful this time...but we couldn't get the order to ship on launch day, just "2-3 weeks". I told her just to skip it and that I would try getting my phones on launch day at an AT&T store. First-world problems, haha!!

Now to go find my camp chair... :D
 
I was able to get all the way to having a 7+ 128 RG in my bag, with a 09/16 delivery date...and apple.com now says they can't retrieve my account info from AT&T!?!?!

At least this is a bit of progress...but wow is this frustrating!!! :D
 
I was talking with a person from Apple's executive relations team just now, and as I was talking with her, my order finally went through with delivery on the 16th! She said they are working really hard to fix the issues, so hang in there, guys, and keep trying!
