are you implying the series 2 has a barometer? how would we make use of it if so? and if it had a barometer wouldn't apple market it?
I'm NOT implying it has because it does in FACT have one. Did you read the iFixit teardown link in the first post?

All :apple:Watches including the S0 also have a blood O2 sensor that Apple has never made use of or documented in any way. So it appears the same thing has happened in regards to the barometer. Why?????? Maybe it didn't work to spec or was not completely compatible with other components or added more power consumption than was allowed or [insert any reason you can think of since we will likely never know].

If I use my iPhone to track a run with Endomondo for example - it shows elevation on the run. Does the AW S2 not have this ability?
I thought all iPhone 6 and newer had a barometer built in.

so at least we know there is one built into the watch. Whether it is actually enabled is a totally different story.
