iPod touch Did you get an iPod touch for Christmas?

I couldnt wait until Christmas so I ordered mine on September 5th! Hope you all enjoy your new iPods! I know I am!

Yep merry christmas to everyone that reads this. I hope you enjoy your soon to be opened iPods or already purchased iPods. I know I am enjoying mine after opening it a bit early (last night). To good health and healthy iPods!
 
Santa hates me because I'm Jewish. So, knowing I'd be terribly disappointed on December 25th, I opted to get the iPod touch using my own money.

1. Yes I did

2. 8GB, I figure that if I do start to go low on space (and I think only movies will make me do that, not a huge music collection) there is always things like Orb to stream it to, and picking and choosing.

3. Amazing, I've been following the iPhone since it's introduction, but because I was on T-Mobile I decided to wait for a Touch iPod.

4. I'm kind of unsure, It looks a lot harder to do when you have it shipped with 1.1.2 (or whatever is the most recent)

5. USA and English
 
Remember...Christmas is not the only holiday people celebrate. I got half my touch paid for as a holiday gift, I paid the rest. I am liking it a lot. 16GB. Hacked.

Yea, I got one... 8 GB. I plan to jailbreak it, but I have a really REALLY stupid question... how do I power it off? On touchdev it said something about slide to power off, but I can't find out how.

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for about 3 seconds and then it will ask you to slide to power off.
 
16 gigger here and hacked it immediately which was so simple it was amazing. Its been syncing for about an hour now and still not even a half way done. I cant wait to play with it. Sync fasterrrrrrr

Oh, and Merry Christmas all!

Nope.. sorry, the iPod series don't appeal to me for some reason but i'm quite happy to buy them for my friends who'll appreciate them more. This year, i bought two of the 16Gb iPod Touch. Both were given to my closest friends... I hope they'll have trouble free usage.

i certainly hope some folks around me got one. i have had mine since september and know no one else with one. So mine is constantly being passed around and confused for the iphone. Itd be nice if someone elses could get passed around constantly.

yeah, I got the 16 one, and I modded it, and then I realized that it has the negative black problem.

(plus some dust under the screen)

boo.

Make sure to check boys and girls. the black album is still a good test.

Anyways, going to go to the store tomorrow to try and exchange.

Still, besides that small problem I've been enjoying it immensely!

freaking awesome. really needs to be modded though.
