"Did you receive your Confirmation Email?" Thread

Put in my order at about 9:15 on the Apple Store and received my confirmation email at 11:44.

I'm a little more concerned about the one that I ordered for my wife this afternoon on the AT&T website. No email confirmation, though I have the hardcopy version that I printed out that shows a delivery date of 6/24.
 
I ordered at 8:36pm CST and no email yet. :( I can't seem to get my order status page to work either, so no idea what's going on. :(
 
Oh crap I just got another order acknowledgement for the same phone different order number. Hope I didn't hit the back key or something. If I did not sure if my wife will be happy to have her own iPhone 4 or mad because of a second 299.00 charge lol.
 
I'm still waiting on mines. I placed it around 5pm pst. I was charged for it however.
 
Last to get in

I think I may have been one of the last to get in. Bought at around 9:30 MST. Immediately after went to the July 2nd send date. Just got the confirmation email.
 
I've waited since 6pm pst. Lame. I want to know I made the 24th date. I can't even log my apple id login. Site is failing today. Dang
 
Why have I not got my email yet? I ordered around 10:50pm and I got to the Thank you for your order page. It gave me my order number and said processing. My credit card has not been charged either. What is up? Anyone else not get an email or have their CC charged yet?
 
Nothing here. Ordered at 10:50pm EST. No clue whether or not the cc was charged, as it wasn't mine but my dads.
 
Interesting

Just got the confirmation letter. This was in the first paragraph:

"Thank you for ordering iPhone 4 from AT&T. Your device has been reserved. Today was the busiest sales day in our history. Because of the incredible volume of orders we received, there is a slight chance that some customers may receive their devices between June 25 and June 28. Rest assured, we are doing all we can to ship devices to customers for delivery on the 24th."

Hopefully they do their best :D

Yes, I had the same thing. So now I don't think it's our mistake, I think it's a fluke with the crazy Apple site today. I wanted to go back in and see if I can delete one of the orders. Earlier tonight it wouldn't let me in, I'll see if I can do it now.

Okay, so that was easy. I went in and saw not only the one extra order but a THIRD order (that I never rec'd an email about). I deleted the two that had the later dates of entry and kept the first one.

I found out something interesting by having three orders with time stamps. The order numbers went up. If I'm reading them correctly, it looks like they had roughly 12 million orders every 5 minutes.

I wish I had Apple stock.

I also currently get the:

Status for orders placed in the last 24 hours may not be available.

OS001: We're sorry but the information you entered was not recognized by our systems. Please contact us for further assistance.

Welp in about 2 more hours its been 24hours+.

Is there anyone who originally had the same order search results but now it finds the order?

Also no CC charge yet think Im in trouble here.

Will post an update if anything changes.

I'm in exactly the same boat... Confirmation email in hand with order number but nothing on their site.... I wasn't even able to complete the order on-line... My order review acceptance timed out with a proxy error, but 2 min later I get the confirmation e-mail
 
Took about two and a half hours but I got my confirmation email from ordering last night too. I think I got lucky since my delivery date is still the 24th and I didn't get my order through until close to 11pm EST.
 
mine took about 10 hours to arrive... but the order was showing up on my history page well before that so i wasn't worried*
