No, and its 9 hours later....

(preorderd in person at an att store, credit card got charged, got two emails about retail experience, and my rate plan changed... (it better not be)(though i think this email is from the removal of my fan) (att says error on upgrade eligibility on the line I used the upgrade on)

Weird part for me is AT&T still shows my iphone from last year.
 
Are you guys actually getting confirmation emails or do they say order acknowledgment?

Probably the same thing, I'm just wondering.

I have an "Order Acknowledgment" but its all the same to me. Means I've gone through their system, and I have paid for it. Now just Gimme Gimme :apple:
 
I finally managed to preorder at 5:54 PM after trying off and on since 3:10 AM.

I just received my confirmation e-mail at about 8:25 PM.

Sorry for this apparent double post I didn't think the other one went through.

i was trying all day on apple.com and att.com and finally got through around 3pm eastern time on att.com and purchased the phone. i received a confirmation number at purchase. i waited for an email and never got one, checked my order status and got nothing, and i checked my amex statement online and saw no charge. everyone on here said to be patient, it might take up to 24hrs to report. so at around 830pm eastern i called att and the representative told me that if my card was NOT charged then the transaction did NOT go through, regardless of if i received a confirmation # or not. he said there was a chance it hadnt posted to my amex statement online yet and to be certain i should call amex and see. well, i did, and there was no charge at all pending, attempted, etc. so, i just went to apple.com and ordered there, waited about a half hour, called amex and sure enough there was a charge from apple.com. so do yourself a favor a do not assume because you have a confirmation # with att that the order went through because in my case, it did not and the att representative said that there are tons of orders were given confirmation numbers that did not go through. not trying to stir the pot here, just a heads up.
 
Just got mine after pre ordering 5 hours ago. It also had the address I changed it to 15 minutes after ordering.
 
Finally

I managed to get an order through on Apple.com for home delivery this morning around 9am after hours of attempts. I just received my confirmation email at 6:56pm. :D
 
17hrs later and I don't have a confirmation email... I did print out the confirmation page after I sent in my order. and it does show up under order status.
 
Phone 1: ordered 2:41pm PDT, email acknowledgment received 6:04pm PDT
Phone 2: ordered 3:19pm PDT, email acknowledgment received 6:09pm PDT

Both are Apple pre-order for home delivery.
 
Yes, within 1 minute from AT&T. I just hope I get the iPhone on the 24th or worst case on the 25th.
 
Just got my confirmation email for my order that went through about 2 and a half hours ago.

Been trying since 1:00am last night.

Finally.
 
My order went through about 5:45pm EST and no email from Apple. I did check the order status afterward and the order was there and said it was shipping to deliver on the 24th. To be safe I reserved one as well but I'll prolly cancel that reservation when I do get the email just to be sure.

Finally got my confirmation email about 10mins ago. :cool:
 
I finally got through at the Apple store around 5 local time and everything looked good for my pre-order. As of now I still have not received a confirmation email but knowing that others received theirs hours later I'm not too worried. Apple did charge my CC $1.00 so I'm good.
 
Nothing yet. Completed order around 8:00 pm EST and received a order comfirmatiom number but apples order tracking site is down. Was worried but after I read through this thread I won't start freaking out until I wake up tomorrow and still don't have one.

Yeah because AT&T reps always get it right. You'd be surprised at some of the things AT&T reps have said.

well i didnt want to risk it and just ordered again through apple. same discounted price and they actually immediately charged my card. now my status for getting a phone on the 24th is sketchy but it would be even worse if i found out tomorrow afternoon that my order never went through in the first place
 
Yippee! :cool: Just received my email confirmation for the first part of my order: a 32GB iPhone 4 (June 24 delivery) and two bumpers. Still waiting for confirmation for my other iPhone (June 24 delivery), but I expect it to arrive tonight. I had to split my order because of the sluggish system. I was afraid I'd lose the first phone in the cart if I kept trying to add the second one.

And the second email arrived just now from the Apple Store. I'm all set for two phones with June 24 delivery. Two bumpers arrive a little later. I cancelled my in-store reservation that I had for one phone.

This day does have a happy ending. :)
