Why would you buy a phone and return it? There hasn't been a huge change since the X.

Anyone who says the screen change on the Pro Max isn't noticeable isn't being honest. If you put them side by side its very easy to see the difference. In a blind test, you could still see the bezel being much thinner. The 16 pro Max is heavier than the 15 Pro max by about half the weight of a paper clip. I don't believe anyone could tell that in hand.

The 16 PM in my hand is lighter than my 14pro, but I know its not. I weighed them on a food scale - 8.0oz vs 7.7with a .2 screen protector.

Its not a huge change from the 15, so get it or not.

Those are the people saying the 16 is worse to 15 even tho they are the exact same. Insane stuff really.

Yes 16 is not a huge leap but it improves in several areas the 15 lacked, like thermal management, +5x camera, which is probably where the 12g increase comes from and ridiculous that it’s not higher.

Also, I think you should edit your comment. You mentioned 16v16. But I understood you, 16pm to 15PM is 6g difference, which is insane taking into account the larger dimensions.

Now size difference in 16pm is noticeable yes, if you have a 15PM/14pm next to it. If not you would never tell the difference 99.99% of the time.

Planning to return my 16PM I think. I've upgraded almost every year since the 7 Plus, but this year really doesn't have that stand out feature that I'll notice/use every day like in the past.

Camera control was supposed to be it, but I'm not finding it useful at all (the opposite, in fact).

But I don't think 15 Pro users are the target audience for this device anyway. Still a solid upgrade for anyone coming from an older device.

Returned. Camera control is a gimmick and it felt heavier. First year I’m not upgrading since the IPhone 3G.

Camera control to some is a gimmick and for me it’s not worthwhile, but I’m not gonna return my 16 because of it. I’m just not gonna use the camera control. I’m used to the old ways.

I like the size of the 6.3 inch Pro, but miss the battery life of the Pro Max series, so I’m exchanging 16 Pro for 16 Pro Max tomorrow.

Yes, nobody buys a phone and then returns it.

Well sir I guess you are what they call a diamond in the rough, someone with a head on their shoulders. Congrats on the new phone and may it serve you well👍🏻

Well, thank you very much. 😉

First time iPhone user, I'm thinking about returning mine due to the pro max touch issues. Everything else is fine with the phone it's the touch issues that are getting to me a little bit.
Those should just be a software update away from being fixed. I wouldn't return a phone for that reason.

As of today I'm considering returning the 16 PM. Great phone, but I've been meh on it all weekend.

I'd have to use my spare 13 mini for the year though as I traded in my 15PM, that's my only hold up.

Are y’all never near chargers? I don’t understand why people act like they need as much battery as possible when they probably work behind a desk lol
for me its the rare times I'm out all day. like taking a trip to NYC and using my on the train and then as a map while walking and then to film or take photos at events and so on and so forth. when these batteries start crapping out it gets very hard to make it through such a day. im super disappointed in my 15 pro max cus its already at 91% and I got it November last year. I'm not using it or charging it any differently than I did my 13 pro max

I psychically bought and returned mine. Sticking to 13 PM for now. I do emails but monks don’t do emails with attachments.
Yea that’s what I went back to. 13 Pro though. I had the 16 pro for one day. It ran a lot hotter than my 13 pro. I work outside. But that was only like the 3rd reason I took it back

Had a 15 PM and downsized to a 16 Pro. Not returning. The 16 pros brought more refinement on an already good product.

I work in IT and it’s more difficult than people seem to think to introduce new products while retaining 100% functionality of the previous product.

I appreciate the small changes/refinements of the 16 pros. If you don’t, that’s perfectly fine too.

Also, if you’re buying multiple iPhones to see which color you’d prefer, then go into a store before you open any to see which you like the most, then return the unopened iPhone so they can at least resell to somebody who wants it. And, you’ll still have an iPhone on launch day.

I also dont understand those people. It sounds more like impulsive buying than anything else. You can’t expect much if you want to upgrade after only a year. Some people have to understand that phones aren’t made for yearly updates anymore.
It kinda sounds like you do understand these people

Yeah, all these divas here with the color hangups and the size hangups who just don't know what they want "buying" multiples and then returning many of them costs us all in the long run. Apple just builds this into their pricing.

Returning my 16PM, not because the phone is bad, but because Photos app is unusable in its current state. I’ll stick with my 14PM on 17.7.

I didn’t return mine and don’t plan on returning it. Then again, I still have 11 days to change my mind. 😉

If you return an unopened phone, they will still open it to verify the device.
