Not to the people who’ve been trying to score one before they sell out. Luckily for them, it seems like there’s a decent amount of these this time.

I tried an XR on a road trip over the holidays, wanting to see how it performs in fringe areas.
It had to be restarted from a freeze twice, lost some 5 cities in weather that i had added to avoid getting caught in snow. When i got to LA the XR interfered with the relatives WiFi...
So I returned it. I got SE 128 off clearance and am very happy with it. Also: $330 vs $880, a very welcome $550 savings.
None of that makes any sense.

Brand New SEs remain sold out.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I prefer the SE over the 6s design. Given they were the same price @$5 a month, I would go for the SE. So if the SE was cheaper than the 6s, that would just be a bonus.
Was it new and unlocked?I don’t understand why this isn’t a sidebar article instead of a main article. This is about the 5th article mentioning the same thing. Plus, it isn’t even that remarkable. Got my new SE for $150 last year.
This is incorrect, they are new according to their discription.WARNING

That is a really great deal. Where did you get it?
Mine came sans SIMSo these appear to be carrier specific models, though all indicate they are unlocked, despite shipping with a carrier specific SIM. Odd. They appear to be identical to the unlocked A1662 sim-free Apple phones previously offered.
So did the carriers just go into their system and release all of these phones, and then return them to Apple to put them up for sale? Very interesting move if so.
Presumably, then, all one has to do is swap the SIM out with any other SIM and they should work? This phone works with both Verizon and ATT, so there should be no network restrictions if it's unlocked, regardless of the network carrier SIM included in the phone.
Yup, I have seen the SE for cheaper too, but not unlocked new ones.Unfortunately not unlocked. Cricket Wireless, last September. I have seen unlocked ones sealed on eBay for around $200 though. Although you risk the chance that its AppleCare is depleted or that you won't even get what you paid for to begin with.
You have just thrown down the SE gauntlet, as far as some MR members are concerned. Be perepared. So many new models among refurbished. Why are they sitting in stock, and nobody is buying them? Turns out SE is not popular as few MacRumors members want us to believe.

You're using the wrong link. This is the correct one:
https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MP8J2LL/A
You'll notice the model number all start with M which indicates new.
They have charged the $8 dollars each time for the SE. It is weird.Does anyone remember if shipping was free the previous time this phone was in stock? I think Apple typically ships phones for free and so it is a bit weird they are charging $8.00 for shipping.

Agreed. Seems like it is free pick-up in store. They have charged the $8 dollars each time for the SE. It is weird.
