Figured I'd put this here - after realizing how valuable the Light Gray titanium Sport Band I just got was, I've decided I'd definitely be interested in trading it for an Ultraviolet Sport Band since they are roughly the same value and I've been wanting Ultraviolet for so long. Here is my Marketplace post if anyone is interested: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...40mm-for-ultraviolet-sport-band-38mm.2282541/
I don’t think it’s quite as valuable as UV. They’re definitely rare, but I’ve been able to buy light titanium for $35 two times now. There’s just more of them that exist and you can find them cheap if you wait long enough.

Random question: Sport loop bands from 2017 and before are LONGER right? I got my 2017 'black' sportloop and its great (love all the embedded colors) but it seems a little longer than the other newer sport bands.

Not the extra large - which I imagine is even longer. Overall, they seemed to be longer etc.

Yes the Sport Loops from back then are longer especially the Apple branded ones. Except for the Nectarine and Product Red G1 which were both significantly shorter. Nike branded loops were longer as well but have kept a nice length even with the newer ones. So you will feel the length difference more in Apple Loops over Nike Loops from old seasons vs newer seasons.

Thanks! I only noticed it because the way the ending plastic bit sits on the older ones is out of the way on the far right, whereas the newer ones are close to the center of my wrist and would click on a surface when id leave my wrist flat - very funny!

From what I’ve seen, they are often listed and sold for roughly the same price (even if the UV are used and the light gray are new, which would be fine for me).

Hi newbie here, question regarding sport loop band (Midnight Blue) I purchased on eBay. I am/was 99.9% sure the band is genuine but something is making me question it now. Does anyone have an issue where the side of the band is wavy where it is strapped? I have 2 other sport loops which do not do this. I have examined this band from end to end and truly believed it was legit but now I can't stop thinking something is off about it. Attaching a photos and the auction i purchased it from. Thanks for any help! https://www.ebay.com/itm/303844357571

Tell me you didn't actually pay $75 for that... These are not that hard to come by. I think I sold two of them for about $30 last month. It looks like the seller offers free returns. You should take advantage of that.

As for the waviness: if it was sealed, then my only guess is that it was stored somewhere humid and it shriveled up a bit.

Check the markings etc.

I haven't seen that but it just means its in bad condition, not fake necessarily.

I paid $65 for it. With tax and shipping it was only $20 more then if I purchased it from Apple when they were first released so I'm ok with that, sure I would have loved to find it cheaper but I couldn't. It was sealed. I have looked for about a month for it, the only other one I came across was selling for $300. Thanks for your help 😊 Glad I found this forum It's very helpful.

Hi, I read that page, so glad I found this forum and that page. I went over this band from end to end it has all the marks and everything my others genuine bands have. I truly do believe it was real there is just a little piece of me doubting it. It was NIB sealed when I purchased it. Thanks for your help.

42mm Gen 1 Product Red sport band NIB $25 OBO

Not a deal yet (or maybe ever) but this is a 44mm Light Gray titanium band mislabeled as Lavender Gray. Starting bid $17.40 and seller is taking offers. Auction might not get very high since the seller doesn’t seem to know what this band is and has it mislabeled.

I made a few decent offers on that grey one and he declined both with no explanation. Nothing to see here...

Amazon has Grapefruit 44mm in Acceptable Used condition for $18 and Cypress Green 44mm ‘Good Used’ for $35. I already yoinked a Beryl 44mm ‘Used - Very Good’ for $37. 😎 I had been looking for that one.

Amazon sucks. It took me 10 minutes just to FIND the OEM ones in the sea of plastic, fabric, and silicon trash, then when I did find it, it shows the option for $17 but doesn’t have any button to actually buy it for me.

Not that I would anyways. Pay your ****ing taxes and treat your workers like human beings, Bezos.
