Today was a good mail day! First up, I received a brand new sealed Hyper Grape that I got for $58 🙃
(I only photographed the two pieces I will wear)

Then I also received these three from another forum member and they are in mint condition. I couldn't be more pleased!

Not a bad haul for a newbie! I only joined the forum a few weeks ago and thanks to you enablers I am out of control (I don't even want to say how many I've bought, including the ENTIRE Pride collection) lol. My family thinks I'm crazy. Yesterday UPS delivered a HUGE box and my partner brought it in and said "more bands have arrived!" 😂

I'm not quite sure yet how I feel about the Hyper Grape. I was sooo excited to find one at a good price but I think I'll have to wear it a few times to see how much I like it. It feels a bit dark to me. Suggestions on faces are welcomed... maybe the right face will help me love it as much as I want to! 💜

What you need to do in that instance is go under buying options. It’s shows up under there with the Add to Cart button. It’s sold now anyway

Solid way to get into an AOD Hermes. You would probably want to keep the leather band as it’s more valuable to keep than to sell in this used condition. But any beton band is really hard to find. And obviously suitable for someone who doesn’t own the sport band. I’ve found Poshers take low ball offers 90% of the time. And no pesky Posh shipping fee!

Today I received a fake Pride Sport Loop from Mercari. The dude went to the trouble of putting it in an authentic Apple box so he could try to pass it off. There are no markings on it whatsoever and it looks/feels cheap. It was sold to me as "Open box no signs of usage ready to ship." I am new to Mercari and I am not familiar with how to file a claim but I'm definitely looking into it. I was so looking forward to this band which would have completed my Pride collection. I am upset but I guess it's my bad for not requesting more pictures. Newbie mistake, lesson learned..... :mad:

EDIT: Can anyone tell me if I click "Item Received" will I then have the option to file a claim? Instructions on the site aren't clear about that. Thanks

DO NOT SUBMIT A RATING OR THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS. Click the help button. Click Returns, then select your item and click request return. Choose counterfeit. Describe the reasons it is counterfeit and take the photos requested, including pictures of the packaging and shipping label. Wait for Mercari’s response. If the return is approved you’ll be sent a label. Also, start this right now as if you do nothing for 3 days the sale will be final.

This was definitely on the seller. Don’t submit a rating. As @jamieinoc said... you can’t return it if you submit a rating.

Are you 42mm? I might have a spare soon.

Thanks so much! I was able to successfully get it handled so hopefully they will rule in my favor.

I realize now that I should have caught the missing size marking in the one photo but my eyes aren't the greatest and I didn't look closely enough to notice since it seemed legit. In the future I'll definitely be more careful. It infuriates me that people do this type of thing. I wonder how many people he has ripped off that didn't know any better!

The size marking wouldn’t have been visible on the second photo because it’s actually on the back of the band. The best way to tell fakes from real ones from that angle is the loop part.

On the fakes, they’re boxy and thin.

Mercari will refund you. It's obviously counterfeit. Note that the seller may not have known this nor ripped you off intentionally. He may have just come across an open boxed Apple band and not known any better.
