Disney+ Getting Another Price Hike

Might be worth it now just canceling and purchasing movies / shows as needed à la carte. There’s not enough good content on Disney+ to make the price worth it.
According to another site, ESPN+ is changing their name and increasing the price. Hulu Live TV is going up too.
I only have Cable TV. It still costs more than all this streaming stuff, but I like that way of watching TV. Kind of old-fashioned. I suppose this qualifies as ATV news. I like Juli and her writings. Otherwise I might ask what does this have to do with Apple stuff?

Not enough regular content, plus the Jimmy Kimmel fallout. Gotta make that money back somehow. I’m going to cancel end of the month
I've ended my relationship with most streamers this year. The good content is not keeping up with the increasing cost. And in the wake of the aforementioned controversy, this isn't a way to earn back people's trust.
Wonder why the Disney Hulu (no ads), which is what we have, stayed at $19.99? It's 9.99 with a $10 monthly rebate on my AMEX.

I just do not understand the logic here your in a mess with your customers for doing a less than smart thing PR wise and now you want even more money per year for content your clearly not listening to your audience about.
Futurama, Alien Romulus, and Alien Earth, and Mandlaorian are good.
They also have The Office. New Daredevil was bad.
I have done that a lot more again in the past two years. Unfortunately, Disney is not really putting out series on physical media outside expensive limited editions. I would have bought Mandalorian (at least season 1 + 2), Andor and probably also Alien: Earth otherwise.

I think it would make a huge difference in a churn if your price can’t increase once you subscribed. They should raise the price only for new subscribers.
Glad I already cancelled my current subscription. Was thinking about renewing it, but not now. I've cancelled HBO Max as well since neither service really has anything I want to watch right now. I almost always pay for the premium subscription as I want the best picture and quality for my home theater system. I'm basically evaluating what subscriptions I want and/or need on a month by month basis. These price hikes actually are saving me a lot of money in the long run.

I used to have it out of convenience but they hardly have anything that I haven't seen at the cinema before and at those prices. Hell no.
I canceled my D+ Sub after they canceled Kimmel. Not coming back.
This article was a good reminder I need to cancel our Disney+ sub. Haven't watched anything on Disney+ in months.
They really are boiling the frog at this point incremental increases hoping people don't notice it or feel it too much. One day, eventually it'll be $100 a month.
