I locked in at the pay-up-front promo rate that's good for three years, and split it with my sister. I think it works out to like $3/month for both of us through November 2022.
Give it a few years and their price will be right around where Netflix is.
Um.... did you not read the article? The answer is in the very first paragraph!I wonder if the Hulu+Disney bundle* is also going up by a buck...
*Yeah, no one cares about ESPN+
$1 here, $1 there, pretty soon it adds up to real money. Sometimes in Australia they describe increases in terms of coffees, "Your rates (land taxes) are going up by less than a coffee a week," or "For the price of a coffee a day, you can own such and such." I always think, I only drink one coffee a day, and you want to take that away from me?Am guessing all the complainers here can’t afford to pay an extra dollar due to spending so much money on some overpriced Apple device like the 549 AirPod Max? Super nice price! 😆
That has what to do with what exactly?86.8 million subscribers? To be fair, Apple TV+ probably has half that number.
The .8 million half.
why do you think piracy is on the rise again? Netflix was great when it was the only streaming service around, now there are dozens of them, and all of them charge between $7-14 .. thus return of the $150 a month cable bill.... not mention the fact you are paying for the internet connection already...Hardly surprising. Start new service with an attractive price. Once a critical mass of customers is reached, start increasing the price. As someone above said, in few years they will be at same price level as the rest.
Thanks for the reminder to cancel once this season of The Mandalorian ends.
I already know people who binge watched one or two shows in one month and cancelled, the same method many used on HBO to get their Game of Thrones fix.
You’re kidding right? Them milking an IP which has been milked enough is considered a good thing? Not even sure how long this will take to apply to UK/EU customers.
Nonetheless, will pay!
Disney+ is full of great quality catalogue content, and the originals they’ve added over the year have been fantastic family entertainment.
Besides, did you even see how much totally new Star Wars content is heading for the service?!
