why are there so many voice over english shows now on netflix. seems like not much left is a normal movie all pulled from different countries. In this modern age of television, I just think the whole concept of "water cooler" talk is non existent. Everything is splintered and no one at work, the offices I've worked in, ever talks about TV Shows or movies they watch and I certainly never talk about stuff I watch with my friends out side of work. Everyone has different interests. Only people who care about being spoiled or having conversations are people who waste their time on the internet and actually look for spoilers. Which isn't as large a group of people as folks like to think.

Agree. Netflix is spending over $15 BILLION a YEAR on original content, anyone who claims they don't have a lot of original content are a fool or being intentionally ignorant.
They’ll also have little movies like Avengers: Endgame. Lots of adults interested in those.
Netflix isn’t being replaced. It’s a new service like HBO or Showtime with original content. It will continue to adapt. They may need to lower prices. This will replace Netflix in a couple of years.
I think this pricing is reasonable

Eh not really. This is what people asked for, the option to have ala carte in terms of their choices. Not to mention at this price it is a killer deal. It’s like cable TV ‘packages’ all over again... great.
Not even once. It is all drivel!I wonder how many times you can watch Marvel movies in your life. Forever?
But you can't watch Jennifer Aniston earn $25,000/minute
Checkmate Disney
Disney doesn't give stuff away, this is a starting promo price and once they make inroads into Netflix market share, the price will increase as it always does with competition these days. competition used to be good for the consumer, but when big corporations instead of competing just buys up the more competitive companies trying to keep the price down. with streaming we pay pretty much we did with cable, although now we need to jump in and out of apps to get the tv we want instead of all in one place. So I"m not sure it is better or cheaper in the long run. That’s a great starting price, I only wonder how long it’ll be kept for before it rises?
How many times do you want to watch Endgame? Once a month to make your $6.99 worth it?

Apple TV + should be, of course, free. But they wouldn't be calling it + if they didn't intend to rip off their customers for it.Netflix's vast catalog of mediocre, drawn-out, time wasting shows is looking less and less appealing. At this point all I really care about is Disney+ and HBO (quality over quantity).
ATV+ doesn't even register as something worth subscribing to... hopefully they bundle it with something more immediately appealing, like Arcade, News+, or Music.
The bold is a pointless, throwaway comment. This is not the point. The point is we need content owners to start providing video content at reasonable prices! Many people say, Disney will increase price after x amount of months etc etc. it’s not like we’ll sign a 40 year contract!
If they change pricing, you can easily cancel!
For 6.99 with lots of content, .4K etc is a good deal.
