I used to love Nokia metal phones and also the blackberry classic because they have some weight to them. Heavy is more expensive haha

I can imagine it now for a future model: "ZOMG I set my iPhone on the table and a gust of wind blew it away! It's too light!"

I may be the only one, but I am happy for the extra weight. Ever since the 5 came out iPhones have felt like the toy dummy phones they have in stores. I don't mind a bit of heft to my phones

The 6Plus is already a pretty hefty phone, much more substantial-feeling than any iPhone I've had before it (maybe except the 4). 20 additional grams will be pretty noticeable too, but as long as it isn't 2lbs it's not a deal breaker.

The added weight is less than a AA battery, does anyone take a second to think before they get so worked up over a non issue? To much focus on the words "added weight" and not actually thinking about what 20 grams are comparable to in your pocket, like 3 quarters, or any other amount less than a dollar.

Am I the only one that is somewhat turned off with the weight of the new phones....had my heart set on going from a 6 to a 6plus and the weight stats are CRAZY high......this might be the first time since the 4 that I do not get a new phone at launch! Im afraid it will feel like carrying a BRICK

Really, are you serious? We are talking grams here.

Oh and it's the 3D Touch which adds the extra weight so, it's for a pretty good reason.

You'll get used to it.

I intended to reply earlier, but am volunteering helping people who suffer terribly from carrying an iPhone 4S which despite being much smaller, weighs a whopping 140 grams. Those people haven't much of a life these days, the weight of that phone crippled them. I dread to think what happens to those poor iPhone 6s+ owners.
It won't be too much of a problem for me, as my wallet is much thinner after ordering a new iPhone 6s+, but I will make sure to change pockets to make sure the weight is not damaging my hips. I will also do some weight lifting to get my hands, arms and shoulders adjusted to the new weight. I am now doing neither of those, instead I will shut up and leave all you lovely people in peace.

As long as it's not the weight of a dumbbell, or that it's making my arms too tired, then I'm good.

So have you guys not done much exercise in your life or manual labor that it's REALLY going to bother you that it ways a bit more? I mean honestly. This is a dumb debate. You guys made bendgate a HUGE deal with the 6, so they addressed it and it happened to be a bit heavier. It's not like you are sitting here doing 500lb deadlifts on a trampoline.

So funny... when some people see Apple making a thinner and lighter phone, they scream: "Stop making the phone thinner! Give me a thicker and heavier phone and put beefier internals there! And more battery please!"

When Apple really makes the phone thicker and heavier, another group of people complains it being too heavy that hurts the arm...

The weight, really? Lol. Women aren't supposed to talk about weight. It's a no-no, don't you remember?

Well this is comical. I don't understand how carrying a phone in your hard is deemed "difficult". If it is, you have some serious muscle atrophy going on and probably should go to the hospital

No ****... I get that to. However, it is exponentially worse because the newer version of the 6plus is so much heavier than the old one. I just find it rather ironic that this was NOT mentioned in the keynote and that apple normally makes a big deal about the new ones being lighter and thinner etc
It's not, sorry.

Not only is there a huge difference in size between the i5/5S and the 6+, but there is also a huge difference in weight. Now Apple have added even more weight to an already cumbersome phone. Sure we're not talking the weight of gym equipment but that's not the point. You can have a heavy pen, or a heavy jacket. You can also have a heavy mobile phone.

OMG! You won't feel the difference! Too many complainers here... In my opinion it needs to feel heavier! It's almost too thin and light now..
