Hey, Tom, while I do sympathize with you, you still sound like an overly jealous, distrustful and insecure person to me. No wonder she's "running away" from you. Just read your own texts again, you're bombarding her with where-are-you's like non-stop. I think you should calm down and analyze a little bit about your character, your perception of trust.

Mind you, I'm not saying her cheating is justified. No, not at all. It's just that your Cerberus-like controlling could be the reason for her perfidy.

Then again, I don't know you, hence I could be totally wrong about your whole situation and my assumptions. I'm sorry if I am.

The context is him trying to get her to say what her location is to see if she is lying. That doesn't mean he hounds her non-stop under normal circumstances.

While I'm not sure on whether or not someone is trolling, I can say that the tracking is sometimes way off! I have been playing around with the FMF over the past 2 days while we were on a trip and numerous occasions it has shown my wife in alabama. We never even came close to the state line of MS/AL muchless were we in Alabama. So, I could see where in NYC it would be very believable for the tracking to be off! And before someone says it, NO my wife didn't take off to Alabama, she was with me the whole time!
 
The OP used FMF? Why didn't he just ask Siri?
Actually, I'm curious how Siri answers that question. :)
 
Dude was probably up waiting for his wife to return home, drinking. Text'd her, gave her less than 20 minutes to answer because he's irrational. Got annoyed and checked out his virtual leash he's attached to his wife and freaked out. His wife probably had a good explanation and now he feels like a tool for creating this thread. Dude is probably a long time member here or at least is registered under another name as well.

Is this true? Who knows but the guy looks like he wasn't all too rational.

I've never understood the people who get upset with the third party. The commitment was between the H & W. Lover is merely incidental; it would be a rare case, were the cheater only to cheat with one single persona. Should another similar individual be around with similar opportunities the result would be the same. As much Haters are going to hate, cheaters are going to cheat.

If the marriage was spurned by one party then eventually someone will become attractive enough to interest the spurning party.

Of course I wasn't advocating violence. I was talking like a guy does in a bar.

Not to be mean, but are you a woman?

The OP said that he had suspicions about "the other guy" before, and hence, he's not overly anything. His insecurity is genuine.

Who know's how the OP and his soon-to-be-divorced-wife used to talk? Maybe she used to bombard him with questions as well? Maybe this is their way of communicating? You can't judge the OP just based off a few texts, especially since he's concerned.

Now, would I text the same way? No, but i'm not going to just judge him by this. So you can't say that his "Cerberus-like controlling could be the reason for her perfidy", being controlling is no excuse for cheating, nothing can be justified for cheating. If one person doesn't want to be with another, they should flat out tell them, for example "hey you're controlling, i don't like that, so we're breaking up". Infidelity is wrong.

That's why it's great to be single :D
