You know why I don't believe the story?

Because it's too "good". It plays right into the hands of what everyone is talking about could happen with FMF in a way that is exciting for people (ha ha, look that woman got pwned!). It's just perfect enough to be believable without being too far out in the realm of fantasy to start making people question it. And it is amusing enough for people to want it to be real.

It's like seeing those stories where some one is so stupid that it is hard not to laugh at him/her or flame him/her. Stupid but yet funny enough to be like, "Wow, I can't believe (and yet I can) the stupidity" but not so stupid to be completely unbelievable where people go, "Don't believe it. Go away troll". One of the best I saw was a thread where a guy claimed he accidentally put NOS the energy drink into his motorcycle and played innocent that he thought it was the other kind of NOS (he posted a pic of the soft drink and was griping about how the NOS product made his motorcycle run badly)... even playing it up the stupid to people when he replied back, acting completely oblivious. It worked too, it got passed around a whole bunch of motorcycle forums, people had way too much fun flaming him and laughing at him, and in the end it was proved he was just trolling everyone (and it took pages for anyone to start bringing up that possibility, it was just too good a thread people didn't want to believe it was fake.

That and has the OP even responded back at all to this thread? I suspect he's just laughing at all the responses.

OP posted pictures of text message between his wife and him and "Find my friends" screencap. Might be legit.

The "without her knowing" concerns me.

I'd suggest you hire a private investigator to document her infidelity independently of the phone-based information. It would be wise, I think, to never mention that to anyone but your attorney, who must maintain confidentiality.

unlike other people here, i dont care about proof, you wouldn't be gaining anything by lying anyway.

But i do suggest if true to get yourself a lawyer and find out if this is admissible. If not, you prob have to set up a way to bust her in a way that will hold up in court.

Not true. He could just be trying to get people irritated about apple and trying to start a whole Invasion of Privacy issue with users. :p

this is only the beginning of a lot of breakups and divorces FMF will be involved in, in my opinion:)

Wrong. If they are married, it's THEIR phone, and he can install the app on it if he likes.

Please just stop talking out of your ass when you clearly have no idea about what is or isn't legal in this situation.

Your wrong, my friend. It might be "their phone" but it is HER privacy and it IS illegal for him to do this. A good friend of mine is in a similar situation right now, she was the one being spied on and she is about to of really well in her $$$ lawsuit. ;-)

Yeah, you really need to tell your cheating spouse when you've put a tracking device on the iPhone. That'll work just fine.

It's strange how some people react to technology. No one questions hiring a private investigator "without her knowing" because we instinctively realize how silly it would be tell the cheating wife about the investigator.

I didn't look at the pic you posted but find my friends bounces between cell towers. I've noticed it happen numerous times. So if you think she's not far from where she is supposed to be it might very well be wrong. I'm not sure I'd place a marriage on it without speaking to your wife or hoof a pi.

She could be buying you a surprise gift! Something you're totally not expecting and haven't even thought about.

Although you mention suspicions so maybe there's a reason for you to think it but I'd think about a serious conversation with your wife before you start speaking to solicitors and gathering evidence!

Assuming the story is true he should do what I read one guy did on another forum when he found out his wife was cheating on him.

It was bang the snot out of her one night and enjoy the sex. After he was done he got out of bed and went to his wallet and put like 40 bucks on the night stand and walked out. He said he paid her like the whore she was and he was done. Divorced afterwards and everything was completed.

I got my wife a new 4s and loaded up find my friends without her knowing. She told me she was at her friends house in the east village. I've had suspicions about her meeting this guy who live uptown. Lo and behold, Find my Friends has her right there.

I just texted her asking where she was and the dumb b!otch said she was on 10th Street!! Thank you Apple, thank you App Store, thank you all. These beautiful treasure trove of screen shots going to play well when I meet her a$$ at the lawyer's office in a few weeks.

thankfully, she's the rich one.

Sorry about what happened (that must suck!) :( But congrats on finding out and being able to move on with your life. Thanks, Apple! :D:apple:

Your post tells me a few things about you. Want to hear them?

1. You're American
2. You're secular
3. You're paranoid
4. You must have been hell to live with

Using your iPhone to track your wife's position? Grow up mate

Doesn't everyone track their wives with their iPhones? At least here in America we do.

Actually the East Village is about 5 blocks away from the Meat Packing district.

By the way - the map you highlighted doesn't show the East Village. The East Village (what locals consider East Village) doesn't extend to Park Ave South nor is it as north as you squared off.
