By the way - the map you highlighted doesn't show the East Village. The East Village (what locals consider East Village) doesn't extend to Park Ave South nor is it as north as you squared off.

Ok. Fine. Get specific. It's still an area. Not a specific dot on a map.

So Shaddup alreadys

There's a difference of 20 MINUTES between his conversation with her and him tracking her... who knows what could've happened in those 20 mins.

Doesn't the person being tracked have to tap "agree" or "ok" to commence tracking? Isn't the agreement on a per use basis?

Kind of.

In order for the OP to actually use FMF the phone he gave her. She would have to have a different email addy to sign in. He could of course signed in using his ID and left it on then tracked himself.

But I don't think it shows 2 separate locations for the same user ID.

WTF?

So you don't trust your wife and you think she cheated because of what you saw on a phone?

Ever thought about the fact that your mighty iPhone might be giving you wrong result? It's NYC, it won't give you exact location with 100% accuracy.

Second, how about actually talking to your wife?

Seriously, this sounds like a troll thread.

You know the only thing more annoying than "troll threads"?

People who jump into a thread and scream out "OMG TROLL THREAD"

Your post tells me a few things about you. Want to hear them?

1. You're American
2. You're secular
3. You're paranoid
4. You must have been hell to live with

Using your iPhone to track your wife's position? Grow up mate
Your post tells me a few things about you. Want to hear them?

1. You're detection of the obvious is impressive.
2. You're either a pauper or a hypocrite.
3. You don't understand the difference between baseless and fact.
4. Pot/kettle.

Using a free app to confirm your spouse's lying/cheating ways versus hiring a private detective to do same at $100/hour is a heck of a lot smarter & expedient that discovering dear wifey has infected you with genital herpes she brought home from Rocco the meat-packer ..... mate.

Hang on, I read this thread a while back, and I've come back now to see it's still going?

Soon as I read the original post I immediately thought *********!

It's made up. As if this happened.

P.S, where's the OP gone? Point made!

Years ago when we visited the US for the first time, just a few hours after we arrived there was a discussion in middle of the night next to our hotelroom. The lady was shouting "I wanna divorce". Welcome to America I thought ...

This is the most entertaining thread going on Macrumors right now... I actually bookmarked it, and I never bookmark threads. Whether it's true or not, I dunno, but I'm curious to see what transpires in the next post the OP makes.

It's like a modern day soap opera isn't it?

Doesn't everyone track their wives with their iPhones? At least here in America we do.

As I said, the post makes obvious he's American. It's not the sort of thing that's considered acceptable in the UK. Next thing you'll want to be putting a dog leash around partners' necks... Honestly :roll eyes:

Maybe the system works differently in the States but I was under the impression the idea is to establish a bit of trust before getting married in the first place. lol

Anyway, is this an ethics committee or a tech forum? Looking at this thread, one couldn't be sure if you ignore the signatures. ;)

You have a point. This thread should be moved to the PRSI discussions.

Hell and damnation... I give up. I don't understand American mentality. Period.

It looks like there are a lot of gullible users here. No wonder why so many believed every idiotic iPhone 5 rumor. This is the internet. People can be whatever they want to be.

Probably lambasting his wife.
