Thanks for the advice, but I have no one.
Hey there! Just a friendly reminder to set up your Apple Account legacy contact before it’s too late. Especially for folks like you who have high-risk mental health conditions, this is super important.

If you don’t have family with iOS devices running iOS 15 or later or a Mac running macOS Monterey or later, you can use a close friend’s contact with any up to date Apple products for that feature. Just send them the security code via iMessage and they can keep it safely on their iPhone or iPad. You can even print it out for extra security. If you’re setting up a legacy account, you can use your Mac to print out multiple copies of the master key. This is essential if someone you’ve assigned for the legacy contact list needs to retrieve your Apple account and all your important records in the future.

I personally prefer hard copies. In case your legacy contacts upgrade their iPhones or iPads and everything doesn’t work properly, like restoring from older iCloud or Finder backups because of space issues, they might switch to Android temporarily or even lose their iPhones or iPads. Hard copies can help avoid these problems.

Have you had a chance to see your GP or call the numbers above yet? Also, did you get a chance to put on the tangerine sport band? I hope you’re doing great!

Yeah I’d love to. Keep a lookout for it I’ll post them soon :)

Always remember it's not you, it's your thought. Don't let the evil win. He is playing with your thought.

My humblest opinion for you my dear friend is to visit some holy places if possible to get some positive energy.

Let God drive your life during this tough time.
10/10, y’all’s advice here. @JapanApple Snoopy classics and modern movies and music, like the playlist I sent you from Apple Music, can boost your mood when you’re feeling down. 🙁 I highly encourage you to share your interest so that the OP can express other interests and also get creative ideas like also art therapy sessions y’all can do to improve your mood. Since you have an iPad Pro OP, why not make more use of it with the Apple Pencil pro and colouring book apps? There’s lots of free ones in the App Store.

@Sezel, as a Catholic  fan, that’s why I love having my rosary 📿 in hand whenever I need to pray. OP: If you’re from a Christian denomination, bruv, you can go to a local church ⛪️ and do confession with the priest. Also, speak with your pastor about how to cope with this situation and how prayer can help.

I don't want to wear any watch 24/7, myself.
Never an Apple Watch wearer at all?
What iPhone do you have?
I'm worried now. This is something tea and a biscuit aren't going to conquer.

I had months where I would go to sleep hoping that I would die and waking up, wondering why I hadn't. However, the only time I was in the psych ward was when I went there to fix the printer. Staff went to the cafeteria and left me alone with the patients for 20 minutes. 😁 I never thought working for a hospital would be that way.

Find a caring professional, look your best, explain your situation. Then, uncork whatever you can't tell anyone and tell someone who will help you find answers, wrong or right. You deserve to be your best.
So you saw all the people sectioned in hospital when you fixed the printers there right? It is crazy in these types of places.

I did not look. It wasn't my business.

When I delivered pizza when I was 19, I saw nursing homes with people strapped to their beds. I've seen way too much in my life and I try just to keep an open mind, a caring heart, and a ready ear.

I know, it was a bit unnerving seeing those people around. But hey, let’s not dwell on the negative. Here’s another awesome picture for y’all here! Turquoise, just like the OP’s favourite color of the straps I showed in the show off your Apple Watch thread :

I’ve pencilled in a plan to jump on Tuesday.

Thank you for all of your lovely comments.

Truly means a lot to me.

It has been nice engaging with you all. But, I can’t bear to wake up another day x.
Let me say that I've enjoyed knowing you, and the time we communicated off list was a special time that I will cherish as long as I live.

Let me also say that mental illness is a disease, just like physical illness, and one that we don't understand very well. We hardly know how to manage it, much less have a cure for it.

I do hope you recover from this episode. But if you don't, it's not your fault, just as a cancer patient dying isn't their fault.

I'll be thinking of you, my friend, now and always.

I guess I need a matching colour scheme for my watch.
Indeed, how many red straps do you need to match the red Apple Watch Series 7? I also prefer a modern red buckle since you have a 41mm Apple Watch, or a classic red buckle for the red watch.

Here’s one recommendation for a red strap: https://bands.bandbreite.watch/modernbuckle/ruby

👌🏻 I hope our OP gets the help he needs. Sending hugs and prayers to @The Cockney Rebel y’all.

Hey there sir. I don’t know you that well. But I do know that you are important and cared for. Life hurts. There’s not a doubt about that for all of us. But, please, hear us out. Don’t let the depression and life bring you down. This is just a temporary thing, friend. Don’t take a permanent solution. Things can get so much better. Perhaps you could find some people someone in person who will be as friendly as all of us here are. We’re here and the professionals (even if you don’t want to see them) are there for you too. We all only want to see you do well. I’m praying for you, and I hope you can see the light and get some relief from these troubles.

Here’s a nice sunrise to remind you of the beauties in life and that there’s brightness after the storm. Stay strong brother!

What type are they? Leather straps?
They're of a similar material to the original Apple bands, polycarbonate or whatever. If I remember correctly, they're of a more traditional watch band design. I should probably try one to see if it works okay. I remember people talking about compatibility issues back then with third party bands.

Thanks a bunch for your prayers and that amazing iPhone 15 Pro photography you did, my friend! I know you’re new to this thread, but since I’ve been back in MR since the iOS 18 beta testing days and during the summer, I’ve always seen the OP @The Cockney Rebel in the Apple Watch section. I’m sure he’ll love that sunset picture you took; I also suggest you find a cool bright strap and take a picture of your silver Apple Watch if you can. @JapanApple and I have shown pics of our watches in the nicest colors, and usually the OP likes bright and pastel colors as a Sport Band/Solo Loop and Sport loop collector since he got the Apple Watch Series 8. I encourage you to join this movement too!

Here are some other threads to catch up that led to the OP’s situation here: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...t-from-your-apple-watch.2452989/post-33799281

I totally admire your efforts, my friend! 👏

Ohhhh like nomad sport band? The green Rocky point straps are really cool too but darn it they don’t have it for 41mm! It’s a nice green colour that matches my case on my iPhone 15 Pro!

That's a really pretty picture!

Here's one of mine.
Hey everyone, I’ve been visiting the nursery quite frequently lately, especially on weekends, since spring has arrived and it’s the perfect time to admire the blooming plants.

I’ve been experimenting with macro photography on my 15 Pro camera, and it’s incredibly rewarding to capture these delicate flowers up close. I’ve also been posting about my photography in the photo of the day threads. The same applies to Portrait Lighting and doing it with various effects.

OP can try out photo walks, and if he wants to check out how to try it out on his iPhone 16 PM and needs a little tutorial on it Apple Store has today at Apple sessions on various photography on iPhones.

Here’s a cheerful photo to brighten up your day, mate:

These aren't great and they still have that unusual fastening mechanism.

Yeah, Apple keeps claiming copyright on these folks, and they no longer make 1:1 replicas of such sport bands from online sites like Amazon. However, I still find 1:1 replicas of straps at shops like TJX and Marshall’s for about $2-$4, which is only about 1-3 quid 💷.

I used to get a multi-pack of the straps up until the spring 2017 releases of sport bands from Amazon. The 1:1 replicas started months after the first Apple Watch came out, and it seems they changed it since the last two or three years. You can still get replica straps from Amazon that look like the original ones. You haven’t seen a 1:1 solo loop replica yet, but the only way to get one is to check the shops and see if they’re selling it for a few bucks. Ross is known to sell genuine Apple Watch straps for $12 or 10 quid 💷, but you have to act quickly. They popped up during my Christmas break, and I got two Ink leather ones. They’re gone since mid-January.

I also have a purple and black rose one from Amazon, and that strap seems different to me too.

Well, I can check T J Maxx as I'm over that way somewhat regularly but finding something to match red is a bit difficult: colorless, white, black, red seem to be the reasonable choices.
