So, has anyone here who's bashing the Zune ever actually used one? And I mean more then spending 10 seconds with the Best Buy demo model. Or are you just bashing it since it's a Microsoft product?
I've never used one, so I can't comment on it either way, but it doesn't seem like a terrible player. Sure, I remember making a photoshop or two with a BSOD on a Zune, but that's poking fun at Microsoft I'm just curious to know if those who are going "ZOMG ZUNE SUX!!!!111" have ever used one.
Good post. I've never actually seen a Zune. I'm unwilling to conclude it sux just because it comes from any particular company.
Seems to me the issue isn't really the players, in the long run. It is iTunes vs. whatever-MS-uses. If MS is able to close deals that provide better and more content than iTunes, people will migrate to Zune. Maybe not any of us, but I doubt MS's marketing plan is focused on people who post here.
Back when Amazon was doing several special sales where users got to vote for what item they wanted Amazon to offer a hude discount on, I managed to buy a Zune for $90. I then immediately sold it for $150. I probably could have sold it for $200, but felt sorry for the poor sap that would actually want to buy it.
In response to a post I made about the Zune not being advertised in ads for stores.....
In the Sunday ads, I seen Zunes seeling at Circuit City for 200$, and at Best Buy for 130$ with the installlation of a a satellite dish, or a phone subscription or osomething.
I have a retarded coworker with a poop-brown Zune. He's such a weirdo and just insulting rude and idiotic when it comes to talking about technology--heaven forbid you mention anything to do with a Mac. He's a total ass-kissing idiot who is an overachiever in ways that doesn't actually achieve anything. Just a spaz and lame and trying too hard. The Zune is perfect for him. He ignores my shiny black iPod video.
