It’s really not. Perhaps someone can draw together these arguments of why Liquid Glass is an improvement, I can’t find any here.that's pretty disrespectful; guess we both overstep boundries sometimes 🤷

because, like most angry people, you only see what you choose to see 🤷It’s really not. Perhaps someone can draw together these arguments of why Liquid Glass is an improvement, I can’t find any here.
You’re right. I have poor eyesight.because, like most angry people, you only see what you choose to see 🤷
Am I tripping or is the dock taking more space than it used to on Sequoia? I did not change the size.

that sounds incredibly condescending; do you not see this? and what is the problem: are ppl so afraid of a contrary point-of-view? a discussion without any opposing viewpoint is not a discussion at allThe irony in this is fkin priceless.
Your condescending tone reveals a lot, you know. Here is a pro tipp: If you're happy with Liquid Glass, be happy, move along, go outside and touch some grass. And let those who have an issue with it talk about it in peace.

i feel like your post here is doing exactly what you are accusing me of doing. You aren't adding anything to the conversation.
At all.
You're just trolling. First you tell people they are not objective. Then you tell them they are panicking. Then you tell them they are a mob. Then you tell them they are angry.
It's obvious you have an issue with people criticizing something that you like, and it bugs you so hard that you lost control and started insulting everyone.
Get a grip.
And this isn't hyperbole?People shared screenshots with examples and discussed how unbelievably grotesque and absurd some of it is, while others chimed in saying it doesn't bother them.
So in a thread asking if we "like Liquid Glass on Mac" only negative opinions are welcome. If we like it we should be quiet and go away? The irony in this is fkin priceless.

Exactly.I like Liquid Glass. For sure it's not 100% perfect on release (Oh the shock! Who'd have thought‽), but the kinks will be worked out, and it will be fine.
I was ready for something new, and really wanted my fond memories of the Aqua of earlier versions of OS X to remain fond memories. I think Liquid Glass is a good start. I'm looking forward to seeing more apps take advantage of it, and to see how it evolves over the next few years. Maybe with the extra customisation they'll allow tinting interface element? (Not that I'm asking for it, I tend to run close to stock)
For me, personally, it comes down to expectation. I didn't expect it to be perfect on release, and I like what I see despite there being a few rough corners. I do expect it will keep getting better.
Correct.so for you the Glass FX isnt a hinderance on screen but there room for improvement👍
My eyesight is on the poorer end of the spectrum. My 95 year old grandpa has better eyesight than I do! I guess my specific combination of sight problems work sufficiently well with Liquid Glass. For me it's hard, my only solution was reduce transparency and run in dark mode. (Which is the worst setting for my eye issues) —I realize its 'my personal needs/preference' just seems weird that Apple would create something that would marginalize a segment of the usrbase.
It'd be great to hear from a cross-section of visually impaired users what they think of 26. and how they're adapting (maybe best for another thread??)
PS> I too have an inkling that this might/will be addressed in future versions —at least I HOPE 😅
Just send feedback to Apple. Hope alone won't do anything.I too have an inkling that this might/will be addressed in future versions —at least I HOPE
No. No. Absolutely no.Having settings look the same across devices is a good thing.
I haven't upgraded, and have no plan to, but from all the screenshots I've seen, everything takes up more space.Am I tripping or is the dock taking more space than it used to on Sequoia? I did not change the size.
all of my app windows, finder windows, safari windows show exactly the same content i was seeing in sequoia. just mentioning!I haven't upgraded, and have no plan to, but from all the screenshots I've seen, everything takes up more space.
yes, and 'I second' sending Apple feedback (I forget adding that comment in general - but always a 1st stop for issues IMO)👍Just send feedback to Apple. Hope alone won't do anything.
I'm not visually imaired but I'm easily distracted and it is so much harder to work on Liquid Glass. And Apple isn't giving users any choice. I mean, all the settings that can be set (less transparency, no aminations,...) make it just ugly. It isn't refined at all. As if they didn't think about it.
The text in Finder got so much bigger. When I choose to make it smaller, it is almost too small. Why didn't they give the option to make it as big as in former versions to a setting what people are used to? This makes absolutely no sense.
Why did they choose to make the corners that round? Screens are still a rectangle. It just feels wrong.
Why are they using different kinds of round corners? like in Numbers, Pages, the corners round shape is minimal. In Notes, Safari,... corners are 1/4 of a ball. are aren't consistent in their own design.
Is there more than 0?Are there more than 3 examples of Apple listening to feedback? 🤪
it's rare, but it's happened.Is there more than 0?
