Yes, I do. Nearly every day. Though technically I am not always smoking it. I make a lovely cannabutter and I also vaporize. ;)

I much prefer cannabis to the slobbering, stumbling, belligerent, consequence-filled mess that is alcohol. When was the last time you heard of a stoner getting into a bar fight? Or driving 100mph like an arrogant psycho and killing an entire family? Or falling onto the street to vomit and make a fool of themselves while they destroy their liver? Etc, etc. I'm not saying weed is totally innocent but I find it shocking that it's illegal in most places while much more destructive substances are totally acceptable. Don't get me started though. Lets just say that after a lifetime of being dished BS propaganda I find that people who know the least about weed speak the most rubbish, the loudest. Maybe they're drunk. ;-)

I used to do weed all the time.
Now I have quit harder drugs and I am on 1 spliff a week.
And I am hoping to lower that to once a month or so...
I may even quit smoking at this rate :D

Well, let me see if I can remember...... ;) I'm 62 years old, grew up in the 60's, a Vietnam Vet, probably attended more rock concerts than the average person during the long hair band era, (if I listed all the great rock bands I'd seen over the years, I'd run over the limit on keystrokes) listened to Pink Floyd probably on a daily basis, mellowed out somewhere between 35-40 years old, so I'll let you answer the question.....:D

iBlue is right, the real poison is alcohol.. Just the mere reaction that your body has when it is consumed in excess is indication as to how much worse it is than cannabis. Worst case scenario in smoking I would say is probably paranoia, but that can easily be diverted with a packet of skittles!
Though I do feel I smoke too much weed, and as a result I don't feel like going out much, I don't see that as harmful as its a conscious decision I make prior to lighting a spliff.
I'd say im probably going to stop(pause) when and if I get married and my wife is pregnant.
As a side note, I'm a student at university - though I smoke on an almost daily basis I'm in the upper 10% of my year(in regard to grades).

Why is marijuana against the law? It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit . . .
unnatural?” – Bill Hicks.

Bill Hicks is my favorite comedian ever!

I actually tried growing it one time. Obviously, its highly illegal, but think about what you're actually doing. You're putting seeds in dirt and leaving it there. How can that be illegal?

I'm convinced that marijuana has been forced onto the class a schedule by big pharma -- we all know that they have a huge lobbying budget and make tons of money in this country selling us prescription drugs at prices 2-3x the level that are paid elsewhere in the world.

They stand to lose a lot from a natural, effective painkiller that grows like a weed.

I don't smoke my weed anymore, I shoot it down into honey oil which is then vaporized. I find that regularly medicating by smoking can be hard on the lungs over an extended period of time, and medicating with concentrates is highly effective. Sativas in the morning, blends during the day, indicas at night.

i thought our drug would be buying apple products, reading about apple products, discussing apple products, not to mention talking about apple rumored products...;)

Why not combine the two subjects?

iRoach.
It's a flame-resistant iPod shuffle integrated into a clip designed specifically for maximum airflow and enjoyment. Each iRoach is preloaded with Afroman's entire discography, can hold up to 420 albums' worth of songs, and is available in chrome, gold, sativa green and for the first time in an Apple product, tie-dye rainbow.

:D

(BTW: I'm in the "never tried it" camp. Can you tell?)

I haven't smoked weed, however I do intend to (as stupid as it might sound). It's just an experience I want to try.

Edit. And reading through the thread, I want to try it even more :D I rarely drink (i've been drunk twice in my life) so weed can be what makes up for it... ;)

I used to smoke weed everyday. It's a lot of fun. Although, weed is not for everyone. I know a few people who just do it out of habit. Maybe not actually addicted, but can't really get through a day without it.

I smoked for many, many years. Stopped about 10 years ago. Funny story. When I joined my last company, at my first weekly meeting, they were discussing whether or not to implement random drug testing in addition to pre-employment testing. I actually had to sit in these meetings and act as a proponent for it. Talk about hypocrisy.

When it passed, I stopped getting high. Picked it up again a little over a year ago when I no longer worked there. :D

My (stupid) ex-husband lost a very good job because of it. He was addicted, but knew when he was going to be tested. He would get that stuff that you drink that is supposed to cover it up. It worked somewhere around 8 times, but on the ninth test it failed him miserably.

I tried it once or twice. I could never smoke anything. I hate the taste. I have been known to make killer brownies, however. :p

I don't. It doesn't sound exciting to me. However, I just started drinking this year. I'm 27.
