I'd say no.

There's money to be made on upselling iPhone customers to Beats products. Give people the branded stuff out of the box and there's less incentive to upgrade.

Well wait a minute. Flip the view. What if they include Beats with the iPhone and make the Apple earpods the (buy separately) upgrade? Then, we're going from the substandard Beats quality to the premium :)rolleyes:) quality (because Apple put their brand on it) offering as the upgrade.

While the sentiment about Beats quality is shifting now that Apple owns it (even if it's the very same products "we" used to bash to no end), there still seems to be a lot of this…

It would just be another pair to throw in the trash LOL

and

I heard that those urbeats are bad quality.

and much similar in play. So include the lesser quality and upsell the Apple-branded product?

I'm only half-kidding.

Grrr-now you've got me looking dropping circa £100 on a decent set of bluetooth earphones to run with and walk the dog with!

Just found these while I was looking at those Jaybirds.

I prefer that type of design to the buds that sit in your ear as I suffer with blocked ears every 6 months or so, thanks to a build up of wax!

LOL! You're welcome :D

I never thought I would spend that much on earbuds but I'm glad I did. Love these things. But you might want to go with the ones in your link if you don't like in-ears. Those Plantronics look really good. I like the over ear hooks and the fact that they don't cancel noise. If I have one complaint about the bluebuds it's that I can't hear what's going in around me very well.
