Pitake superslim. From the first Iphone always my choice.
Grandma called, she wants her handstitched case back 😝

Btw., I hate cases, never use them (just with the new ones because I think it’s a smart choice, but after day 2 it’s gone for good). I like the true feel of the devices, also I can’t stand the extra bulk and the dust being trapped between the case and the phone’s frame, often causing scratches.

Let's switch it up! Do you use a case on your AirPods case? If so, is it primarily for protection or aesthetics?

Sorry, but I find the question to be rather, in lack of a better word: stupid… I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would use an extra case for their AirPods other than aesthetics.

I bought a discounted 16 instead of the 17 to replace my 13. Instead of using a case, I have put on a screen protector film, a back protector film and a lens protector. Altogether probably cost more than a good case! But, it keeps the phone smaller and it's nice to feel titanium instead of plastic.

Don’t put things over the lens: the main result will only be worse pictures.

You picked a winner. People are saying they drop their phones onto road surfaces from 4' and don't see any dents with that model post-droppings. I may love the cosmic orange, but I love keeping it in good condition more and many cases are clear to let the orange shine through. At the end of the day, a rugged case designed for drop protection will keep it from denting if you drop it onto the road or other hard surface. (Ranier is rated up to 22ft, but most people - if or when they do drop it - will see a 5' drop or so and a case rated for 22' is likely going to work better from a 5' drop than a case rated for a 7' drop would tackle a 5' drop, reducing the chance of a dent to begin with, and many of these cases don't look like they'll handle big drops where they land on the phone's corner/edge. Nothing is indestructible, but decreasing the chance of a dent, a breakage, a need for service, a want by those around you to point and laugh, etc, is more important.)

Thank you so much, won’t lie I didn’t know much about Zagg but you have given me a great deal of confidence in them. When I walked into the store to get a case it was one of the first I saw and I liked it’s rugged yet sleek design so went with it, wasn’t aware it is THAT rugged without looking like a UAG case which can sometimes take away from the phones design.
I’m very happy with it, case itself has taken so many knocks and yet looks spotless.

I'm still using a 14PM that I got with the genuine Apple case that was $50.
What a waste, though I liked it while it lasted.
The case fell apart so I replaced it with a silicone eBay special for $6.

I use a case on my 16P, but I am getting frustrated. I am on my second Apple silicone case and it is breaking just like the first one. The edges chip and break when it falls or from just bending them when taking the case off a couple of times. I am not going to waste my $ on another one of this overpriced garbage. I like the soft touch case but will need to look for a credible and cheaper 3rd party offering.

"Cheaper" is stupidly easy to find; a lot of stuff on Amazon is in the sub-$20 range... the hard part is sifting through it all to come up with something that's a bit more than just cheap.

Personally, I use a Tauri case, and they appear to have variants for a lot of different iPhone models. It's not necessarily as "soft" as Apple's own case, but I feel like it's a good balance between that and those other plastic/rubber mixed material cases that require you to put on the rubber part and than put on the plastic part... that just bugs me. The Tauri just goes on as a single unit; much easier and nicer, IMHO.
