I used it once to test with a coworker when we first got it and then twice as we tested it over 3G after jailbreaking (works surprisingly well there). Other than that I've not used it. I'll probably use it a bit more once the kids upgrade (at some point I'm sure) to the new iPod Touch. If a new iPad in early 2011 comes with camera/Facetime then I'll buy one of those for a "family information & planning" device to sit in the kitchen and use Facetime that way as well.

Haven't ever used it either. I hate talking on the phone, would much rather text, so never really had the chance or desire to use it.

I use it almost every day to talk to my mom and family back home since I'm away for college. My mom's phone and mine are both jailbroken, so we generally use it over 3G which works surprisingly well.

Last year we would iChat sometimes, but FaceTime is so much more convenient and it feels more personal.

Almost 5-6 times everyday to talk to my wife and my kids.

Calling and texting is expensive where i am.....Data is surprisingly cheaper. So a 1 minute facetime call would cost me significantly cheaper than a 1 minute carrier call. :)

Nope, haven't used it yet.

No, I don't like looking at that little picture of me in the corner!

I think it's a great feature, Apple has made it more popular (Because it's Apple!).

It's nothing new, but it's a mass-market. I've used it a few times but it's great for people with families abroad or far away. I'll be off to University soon and i'll be using it to Facetime with my family a few times a week, I don't think it's revolutionary but as Apple is huge, and with the new iPod touches, it will take off.

i turned it off in order to get my hold button back...

dont see myself ever using it. i do however use my hold button....

i understand you lose the hold button, but if you press and hold mute it will hold the call for you.

Used it twice.

first time with a coleague just to test it out, second with my parents, again, to test it.

Cant call either of them as they dont have wifi readily available during summer.

Come winter both my parents will have the iphone4 and access to wifi so can see it being used a little more.

I'd use it a lot more if they brought it to iChat as my family and I video chat with my parents and in-laws quite often since they live across the country.

Currently, I only have one friend that I use it with. But with that one friend it's vastly superior to talking to him on the phone. The voice quality is a lot better and actually being able to see his body language is hugely helpful.

No... Have to have an ip4 and be around wifi... Have the ip4... All my friends said no way and stuck with their 3gs... If this ever gets integrated with Skype or a common platform for video calls I would use it multiple times a day though.

^^^^^ You understand that it's not Apple that would need to allow it over 3G? It's the wireless carriers that would have to approve it.

I thought it was one of the best features of the iPhone 4, and have used it once. Anyone else like that?

I use FaceTime 2-3 times a day. I love it. In fact, I use it to speak with my mother (who lives in another city) more than the regular phone.

I like it way more than Skype because the camera isn't in a fixed position, I don't have to be sitting in front of my MBP to use video chat. Yes, I know that my MBP is portable, but I primarily use FaceTime to show my family/friends my 4 month old son. He prefers to do other things besides sitting in front of a computer (for now). I can aim it at him playing on his play-mat, while he's in his crib, during feeding, in his exersaucer, etc.

I hadn't used it until last week when my dad and brother both got iPhone 4's. It's cool, but nothing I will go out of my way to use. I suppose it's better to have it there and not use it than not have it at all, though.
