DODOcase for iPad - just received mine

Just got an iPad
I just got an iPad and I like the "book" type of cases. They just have a cool presence to them. I've been digging around on the options. There's the pad and quill, dodo, treegloo, whatever that one is that actually looks like a book.
I'm still trying to decide. Everyone here seems happy with their dodo case, and the pad and quill looks (though may not be) heavier than all of them. The treegloo case is getting me on two things: custom stuff and a lower price. I've been on a brown kick for a while and would love to have a brown and black case.
Has anyone ordered one? They're boasting 5-7 days to ship now...

Treegloo does look like fun. The customization options are really neat. (the Paris Metro would have a lot of good memories . . .) I have a DodoCase already, however. My only minor criticisms of these cases are that they are not very stable propped in landscape mode and are just a little slippery when holding them (at least compared to suede or other leather).

Does anyone have a support phone number for DoDocase? I have an issue with mine, but I am not really eager to mess around on twitter and facebook to get support.
I just received a treegloo iPad case yesterday and like the look and functionality of it however when I bent the cover all the way back to type and the inner liner immediately ripped since its made of paper. I contacted them and they are willing to fix but wanted me to pay for shipping both ways! When I complained they said they would pay for it back to me but I think I need to pay for shipping to them.... Not real happy about this.
Not sure if you can bend back the cover which means it can't stand. Not as useful to watch video in landscape mode if this is the case. It looks like you can bend the cover of the DoDo, right?

I'd hope so as we've mailed a bunch out. The are quite a bit sticker on the iPad than the original.

It is often easiest to deal with stuff over email as you can send us pics. We've got a team on 'thenest@dodocase.com' so please do email us with any questions or concerns. In regard to the other "knock-off" case makers, I've decided that I'm sticking with DODOcase- they have stellar customer service from everything I've read (and the fact that Craig from Dodocase is actively participating in this thread) and are sorting out and addressing any issues that might come up with their cases quickly and efficiently.
I placed my order on August 15 and it should be shipping any time, if not already, per their Facebook page where they give continuous updates on the order queue. That's quite an improvement in ship time and now it looks like I'll have my Dodocase in time for my trip to NYC in about 12 days-yay!

Just got mine
Got my dodocase yesterday. At first the fit seemed loose but overnight seems to have settled in. Love this case. I have an Oberon and an Otterbox. Both are heavy and clumsy feeling. The dodo is slim and will not stand out on my work console. Since it is a municipal police department that is a good thing. I am not rough with my iPad but when I set it down it needs to some protection due to cats leaping off the table I set it on. Cats feet and behinds seem to be attracted to the iPad screen
Anyway. Love it so far. Will update if that changes. But I doubt it

Alas, my DODOcase has suffered a technical failure and the elastic strap has detached on one end whilst I was closing it up I baby the case, so I'm quite disappointed now. Emailed DODO, so will see what they say.

My Dodo case arrived in Ireland about two weeks ago. I love it so far. No issues with it, my iPad is held securely with the grips. Really is the nicest case I have bought so far (out of the 10 or so)
Got my dodocase today-so far, so great! Very unique and beautiful and feels quite sturdy. iPad fits in nice and snug. I did notcie that there was no number on the label on the inside cover...did they stop numbering them? Anybody else? Just curious....
Would love to get this case. But does anyone know if putting the iPad in and out wear off an invisible shield? And does it leave any scuffs/scratches? Thanks
USPS does not update the tracking info on the international packages we send. It is unfortunate and frustrating. We've seen horrible shipping delays to the UK all summer. The product seems to get caught in customs for weeks. Hang in there. I don't understand why you wouldn't have gotten a response from our team at 'thenest@dodocase.com' - DODOcraig
The DODOcase can easily accommodate a screen protector, but anything the touches the sides will effect the fit (and potentially make it not fit). DODOcraig
