No case or anything, though after a few months it does get a little dirty... *cleans*

I've started hating cases (and prefer scratches if that's the trade-off) since I've seen someone using a yellow, cheap (not opposed to expensive) plastic cover on his MBP. It looks like a cheap Dell. D:

And I have seen leather cases too. Personally I hate those. It's aluminium, it might scratch, but hey, it's not like it's the end of the world if it's scratched.

I might get something like invisible shield (that I use on my iPod) for my MBP though. Now that I think of this.. umm...

Did anyone read this topic title the wrong way like me? D:

No cases or anything on my MBP. I don't plan on reselling it, so it isn't an issue. I'm fairly careful with it, and I keep it in a sleeve when not in use. Also mindful of where I put it, and such.

That said, the bottom is a bit scratched up due to my clumsiness with a screwdriver. But it isn't bad at all, only two scratches on it. If it actually does bother me enough, could always invest in a replacement bottom from ifixit.

To me, putting plastic on that beautiful metal is like someone who buys a car with high quality leather seats, then puts crappy seat covers on them. They spend their time sitting on the seat covers, but the next owner gets to enjoy the like new leather seats. The resale value may be slightly higher, but why buy the leather seats in the first place. It's the same for my MBP, if I wanted to carry around a piece of plastic, I would have bought a Windows machine. I love the look and feel of the bare aluminum. I am very careful with the MBP, though.

I've got a wrapsol on mine to prevent any scratching, smudging, etc etc.

I too, would prefer to preserve the look and feel of the Macbook pro. Putting a case on the MBP really does take away from the beauty of the design.

The matte finish on the wrapsol looks and feels very much 'naked'.
