Make sure you don't keep them in an environment which is too cold.

Honestly I’m just following the instructions from the site that sells these and using what they supplied. It came with a bottle of some kind of “tap water treatment” that I use. But I’m not sure if that’s what you’re referring to.I never kept frogs, but I can't imagine treatment being vastly different from exotic fish. I'm wanting to recommend a round of doxycycline or tetracycline. Either way, if you use it you typically want to quarantine the specimen. Easiest way to get something setup is move some filter medium to a new filter unit and some water among other things to jump start the bacterial cycle. Should be fine.
By chance do you use any stabilizers in your tank? Like a binder compound to get rid of haze or anything but water conditioner?
Did you raise your adult frog? My impression is that it should not be that tricky. Besides the possibility you’ve received defective tadpoles, maybe it’s something in the water. Does the company who sells the tadpoles have a phone number where you can actually talk to someone? So the first tadpole died today. And the second one is starting to show the same spine curvature. Guess I’m doing something wrong. I’m going to try and move it into a place with more sunlight

They don't but they're very responsive to emails. They suggested using spring water for the next one. And to answer your question no, the tadpole died for the adult frog, they sent me the adult after i told them the tadpole died. By the way, this company im working with now is amazing, they're sending me a THIRD tadpole! Im going to do everything different with this one. I don't seem to have very good luck with these things.Did you raise your adult frog? My impression is that it should not be that tricky. I don't have much say in the matter as I don't think they'll continue honoring this warranty come spring. I live in a warm climate, its 70 degrees outside, I don't think the tadpoles will know the difference.A sound and sensible post with some excellent ideas.
And, raising tadpoles is something that strikes me as better contemplated and done in spring.

It was actually two separate companies. The adult frog I have is from grow-a-frog, these tadpoles are from nature gift shop. Honestly i think the water in my area just isn't good for tadpoles, so ill be switching over to spring water.Condolences, but not terribly surprised; from your posts, I had suspected that it wasn't in terribly good health from the outset.
They may be very responsive to email, - which is admirable - and offer excellent customer service, - also admirable - but is the quality of what they send you all that good? Are they reputable?
Anyway, good luck with the challenge of raising the second and third tadpoles.

My guess is that you have to get the chlorine out. I wonder if distilled water is good, bad, or neutral for fish and frogs? It was actually two separate companies. I told them I’ll use distilled from now on, and they replied that I should just use sprint water. I always used distilled for betta fishMy guess is that you have to get the chlorine out. I wonder if distilled water is good, bad, or neutral for fish and frogs?
Does bottled spring water have added ingredients, I wonder?I told them I’ll use distilled from now on, and they replied that I should just use sprint water. I always used distilled for betta fish
I’m not sure, but surely it must be better than tap water with conditionerDoes bottled spring water have added ingredients, I wonder?
Hahaha, that's kind of creepy ... are you familiar with the old Dreamcast game Seaman?
