Yes, as I stated, I stopped using my iPad. As for the MS tablets, I use my SurfaceBook for my mobility needs, but I use it as a laptop.
Interesting. I suppose we have entered into an odd point in time when there is a differentiation between whether one's mobile devices' usage is either "tablet" use or "laptop" use.

Edit: Though, in my mind, a SurfaceBook is still a tablet with a keyboard. YMMV.

I recently bought 7 plus phones for me and my mom, and it hasn't stopped us from using our iPads. I've been using a Mini 4 as my go to handheld when I'm home (and I know she still uses an iPad to stream on nightly).

But as a side note, I do use my MacBook Pro more than either device.

I just got an iPhone 7 Plus on Friday and I feel like I'm finally adjusting to the size after the weekend and first Monday with it. However, I'm now in bed and typing this on an iPad mini 4 while the Plus is on my cradle charging just like my 6 used to, so I don't think it'll change my personal use case. I also use my iPad constantly for work being a music teacher and real estate agent, so that'll most likely continue as well. Different use cases for these devices and finding how it fits into your life helps out. If it doesn't really fit, go ahead and cop the extra cash by unloading the device. For me, with the Plus, I might get a bigger iPad at some point, yet the stepback of the non-laminated screen on the new iPad was off putting and I don't really need the iPad Pro. Nonetheless, I still love my mini 4...
