Downgrade iPhone 4S

So, I'll be getting an iPhone 4S tomorrow (should be a nice upgrade over my 2G 😀) and it's on iOS 9. I've heard that the iPhone 4S is pretty slow on iOS 9 and fast on iOS 5 and 6. Is it possible to downgrade it? I can provide more details about the device tomorrow, sorry if I don't have enough.

you will not be downgrade iOS version.
Apple doesn't allow it.

It is easier to find an iPhone 4s with iOS 5/6/7 on it than trying to downgrade from iOS 9 to any older firmware.

Yes it is possible. When you get the 4S, hopefully it is on <=9.3.2. If it is, then jailbreak it, and use OdysseusOTA. It'll be downgraded to 6.1.3.
