Click bait-y crap.. like "I took my iMac Pro apart, broke something and Apple had the nerve to void my warranty". This guy is nothing but an idiotic troll looking for ad revenue. Not worth the bandwidth or time.
Sure. But I think unbox therapy is even worse. He has one video "You Should Buy the New iPhone SE" and another "DON'T Buy the New iPhone SE". I'm not clicking on any of those.

Yawn. It's a attention getter designed to make people talk about Apple. Most of the people doing mocking reviews of the wheels point out that you can get an iPad, iPhone, or Mac Mini for the same price. Apple isn't embarrassed by that thinking. It's what they want you to do. Only they don't have to tell you because your favorite entertainer is doing their marketing for them.

Apple is getting rich partly on poor standard specs plus large mark-ups for upgrades and extras across their entire hardware range.
Right. That’s exactly how to get rich. All they do is make crappy, underpowered computers and charge exorbitant prices. That’s a sure-fire way to get rich, alright. No one wants to buy that terrible stuff because it’s so crappy, under powered, and expensive, yet miraculously they keep getting richer. You must be right!

I became a Macintosh/Apple user in 2003. 2019 I became a Google user.

I needed a new computer and bought a $200 Chromebook. It works great. This computer was the same price as Apple AirPods.

The cheapest Apple laptop is $800 more. No thanks Tim Apple.

I had anxiety the whole time watching this, expecting him to start shouting at any given moment 😅

To anyone who says this is for enterprises, that is not true. I work for an enterprise, and they don’t even want to spend on MacBooks, much less in “wheels”. The only ones who would get this are the VPs.
Almost anyone who says this is for enterprises doesn't work for enterprises

these devices have always been built to withstand normal use. intentionally bending a device at a certain point is not normal use. iPhone 6 and iPad Pro had a small number of customers experiencing bending which were due to mishandling.
There were reports of an internal Apple document that Apple knew the iPhone 6 was more prone to bending all along. It's entirely possible Apple would have made structural improvements
So normal use would not have bend iPhones and the same iPhones were more prone to bending?
Did Apple strengthen the chassis structure without the need for it?
Ok

Would have been nice if he had a MacPro to go with it. Is that correct? $700 for wheels? Sheesh. You could get a $300 discount if you order the wheels while your ordering the Mac Pro through Apple.

HAH!!! You are so correct!!! I worked for a Big 10 (11) university and my boss, who could barely figure out how to turn on the computer, or put more paper in the printer, had the most expensive and fastest computer in the department. I suffered with a small hard drive POC, and he had a sleek speed demon, and used it for Solitaire and surfing political websites, testing the antivirus software. I was finally transferred to a different department. I heard he was finally fired for sexually harassing the women in the department. (And anyone that has worked in a university knows how hard it is to fire someone) Nice guy, huh... I did wonder who got his computer. Is that bad?

Apple Wheels Skateboard

That would be a fitting use for them. The last thing you want in a skateboard is a brake. Right?

Having saved $600 on your laptop, you’ve seen the light and you’re done with Apple. You know the importance of value.

And how do you rate the value of the time you spend continuing to post on MacRumors, now that you’ve moved on?

$800 not $600. I still rock an iPhone; I’m not totally gone. I’m just done with overpriced computers.

Because it’s still a waste of money that’s why not? That $700 could go to someone’s salary instead of $700 wheels on something that most people probably won’t even move or need to move very often.

Do you actually believe that corporations pay out saved expenses to their employees?
That’s pretty naive of you.

Awh, did some YouTuber hurt your feelings? 🥱

Edit: Yeah, keep the hate coming 🤗 Jerry is the nicest guy on the internet and Lew doesn’t deserve half the hate he gets, comparing them to the Paul brothers makes no sense whatsoever.

Hate is probably from how you worded your original response 😉

Secondly, I used to watch Lew, liked his channel for a bit. Then he started spewing out false information for views.

Anybody tried how cosy it is to have feet on the front and wheels on the back?
You cold drag it, but it also stays still when needed?
Or do the wheels have brakes?
(Hmm, I’m sensing Apple Wheels 2, only $1200 per set, but ”they have the greatest brakes on any Apple Wheels on the planet”... until everything changed again, with Apple Wheels 3, only $1800, with Siri controlled brakes...)

It started right away when they announced the $999 stand, you heard (lots of) people
laughing at the price in the audience.

As for the wheels, yeah, way overpriced but the design is well done.

I think my Cintiq Ergo 32 stand it way more complex, rock solid and have more maneuver movement rather than $1000 Apple own stand, which is just rotation/swivel/up down, like normal monitor stand, and only half of price from Apple asking for.

Hah, I came here to post this. I think he did it on the wrong side though. Maybe it would have run into things on the edges but he could have brought them in a little and I think it would have been fine.

And he could run a shiny chrome rod through the holes in the wheels on each end to hold them straight. It would look awesome! Shiny chrome wheels, shiny stabilizing rod, a total awesome board...

You don't need more than that, Apple's Displays don't have Touch on them, so no need.
Nice stand, but not perfect, you can lock it only in two position.(Rotate).

When adding wheels to the ?Mac Pro? when making an initial purchase, Apple charges $400, but the standalone kit to be used after purchase is $300 more because the pre-purchase price includes the price of removing the $300 feet.

Guys I really don't get this sentence.
When adding wheels to a MacPro during initial purchase Apple will remove the 300$ feet in factory and I end up paying only 400$ for the wheels. Ok.
If I order the wheels for a MacPro that I already have I pay 700$. How come this "includes" the price of removing the feet? I will have the feet taking dust somewhere after I install the 400$ worth wheels and I pay 300$ more for what exaclty?

Thanks
