Too late! Already happening, buddy. :p

Yep it is, we used to be strictly a Blackberry shop but people hate the fact we were tied to a BES server, and the fact that most Blackberry's stink for anything but Work Mail, Calendar, and Contacts, everyone here mainly 200 lines of service are going from Bold's and Curves to the iPhones either 3GS or ip4.

Even the people on Verizon are moving over to AT&T just to go on the iPhone.

If I did not see it myself here at work, I would probably say Naaa, but every day I am in a meeting someone else is sportin a new iPhone of either Flavor.

I use it to access personal email and Exchange 2003 Work email, and it does the job really well

As long as you have to hook up to iTunes things will remain the same.
I'm sorry, but things are not remaining the same. Just look at the below comment. Apple's presence in the enterprise market is growing everyday, whether you like it or not. And really, how long do you think iTunes syncing will last? Last time I checked, wireless sync is coming fast.

First off you need to find out what company he's talking about. Wireless sync with iTunes is still a corporate no-no. When Apple can set up a secure structure like RIM maybe the government might consider it but I doubt it.

Really? Why? Also, why are you dragging the U.S. Government into this? They like BlackBerry, and that's fine with me.

Wait, are you a RIM fanboy?

I really hate the whole "I need a physical keyboard" people say before they use the phone for a lil while. Basically, everytime someone says that who has never used an iPhone borrows mine and its amazing how quickly they change their mind, how are you are gonna write off something before you even use it! (Well yall do it a lot on here with Android devices :D)

I had a BB for years and swore off the iPhone because it didn't have a physical keyboard. And while I have gotten pretty fast with the soft keyboard, I still think I prefer a physical one. Regardless - the iPhone, for me, brings more to the table, so I'm "ok" with having something I prefer less in terms of typing.

Swype, anyone? Too bad it won't be coming to the iPhone...

Meh, I have a blackberry right now and had an ipod touch before that. I got good on the ipod touch typing but the keyboard on the bb literally blows it away. There is just something about tactile feedback from pressing a physical button that no technology can match right now.

As far as touch screen typing goes, the iphone/ipod has definitely been the best of the bunch.

I don't need the physical keyboard, but it is definitely better if you do a lot of typing.

meh, played around with it... doesnt really suit my taste.... i would rather type it out on the screen then swype.

Im sure its something you could eventually get use to... but i feel like i had to put a lot more thought into swyping then just tapping

Verizon doesn't even carry these in the store anymore and getting a replacement was like pulling teeth although whole family is on AT&T with iPhones so not a problem for me anymore.
Incorrect, I got my Droid x at a verizon store which had developed dust under the screen. I walked into a verizon store, they looked at it, and ordered me a new one (they were out of stock by then) and I got it < week later.

Why joke? More than half of all Fortune 100 companies are using iPhones and iPads. :D

This is true, but the security is still woefully inadequate compared to that of a Blackberry. My workplace is just now allowing employees to store company data on the iPhone 3GS and 4 now that iOS 4 uses the device's passcode to encrypt the hardware encryption keys.

Hopefully iOS 5 can change that. ;)

I would have thought the opposite. The old Apple was very much the refuge of the computer geek. The current Apple with the locked-in environment is anathema to that mindset. Geeks run Fedora (no kiddy linux Ubuntu for them). The polar opposite of that is a Mac user.

LOL Fedora? Is that more grown up that Ubuntu? HAHA I think real geeks don't run Fedora either. Try something real like FreeBSD bud. Fedora, lol

So ???

Does that make them a bad phone ?

Check Engadget.com

The reviews for both phones say they are mediocre at best. I guess Apple is bribing Engadget again, right Droid fans? That has GOT TO BE what is going on..... right?

Feeling better about your allegiance ?

Allegiance huh? Way to make assumptions. The day someone makes a better phone (IMO) than an iPhone, i'll go with them. It has nothing to do with allegiance, as it does to me enjoying good products. I'd love to meet some of you people in person. I'm sure it'd be quite entertaining. I love it how being a fan of a phone automatically makes you a fanboy.

I see, very revealing.
