30 days actually.

Really? That's not what this says. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413096731.054375.jpg

The misleading information about here is staggering.

- You can add AppleCare+ with cosmetic damage. As long as the damage does not effect the functionality of the device you can add it. This is including, but not limited to: small dents, scratching, scuffing, etc.

IE. If you drop your phone and it has a small dent but not a broken display (or display that popped out) you can add AppleCare+

- You can add AppleCare+ within 60 days of purchase. Used to be 30, it has changed to 60

- Genius Bar employees will not replace your phone for cosmetic damage* If you insist they will happily charge you for an incident. Wear and tear is not covered by the limited warranty.

*YMMV - some employees don't care and will replace anything to avoid getting annoyed by a customer.

Put one of the very nice Apple cases on it. You'll forget the scatches are there until a time you don't care anymore - such a time will come, believe me.

There's great advice. Cause damage to your phone, completely your fault, and then try to hide it and return it, and be sneaky about it, and dodge personal responsibility.

You need to take it in, if you don't have Applecare+, purchase it, and if anything else goes wring with it, they will replace it. That is, IF they allow you to purchase the Applecare with a ding. They might. You now have 60 days to purchase it after you buy your phone. When I washed my 5S, they replaced it fully for $79.

Basically, if you can't live with the dings, It's going to cost you at least $179. You just need to live with it, or own your mistake and pay for it.

Agree. This is why things are so expensive as they are because of people like that. You dropped it, live with it, or get a case to hide it
