I've been battling to get Logic6Pro up & running and talking to my sound modules. The environment for my Proteus 2k is Jacked up. Sequences I did in DP OS9 on my old 9600 with patch changes inserted (that work) don't result in the same patch change happening in Logic. I troubleshot all the MSB & LSB commands & Logic sends out a completely different set than the Proteus manual has or DP (which coincide BTW) confusing.pounce said:

I didn't post about my order before because I expected it would arrive long after this thread was finished. The FedEx page doesn't have an estimated arrival date yet. It left Shenzhen, CN on August 6 at 10:16 PM. I ordered it on 7/19 through my university store, and it's a university faculty order, so maybe those are getting some priority here. Someone reported that they're processing edu, gov, adc, apple stores, other retailers, in individual priorities, so maybe there aren't many edu 2.5 orders. I am very surprised about this---pleasantly surprised for me, but I'd be down too if I'd ordered on 6/9 and was behind someone ordering on 7/19. I suppose we'll have to see how this plays out.

Congratulations to ThinkMatt and Crunchy for receiving their shipping notice today. Looks like Apple has began sending out new shipments on a Friday/Weekend pattern. And also to those who have received their units today.
The system is obviously messed up, and it was admitted by a few Apple reps as evidence by a few who called yesterday to inquire. I hope this is sorted out soon.

So where do I fit in with this list?
I ordered on the 12th of June via a reseller (he ordered 5 or 6 that day) - only added a 9800XT and upped the Ram to 1Gb (2x512), and he has no idea whatsoever from Apple when it will be coming - we had the 02/08 date all along (still do), and some morons from Apple saying '''er... should be sometime in the next 2 weeks or so..' - how sh*t is that when there are people here who ordered well after me already getting them or at least getting official ship dates!??

It looks like none of the 6800 equipped have shipped yet.
I called Apple to see if the card even exists yet in large quantities though no new information was known. They are sticking with the 8/20 date.

You just said it all -- you ordered VIA A RESELLER. I don't believe anyone who's received one so far has. In addition to that, you ordered the 9800--I haven't seen someone receive a 9600 order. So you may be dealing with TWO things delaying your order. I've seen you angry several times, but I believe Apple will fulfill orders placed with THEM first. That is precisely why I DIDN'T order through a reseller. And thats why the stores reseller or otherwise are all quoting 2.5 arrival dates later than most people on this thread. I also didn't order the 9800 or swap out the superdrive, or add airport. Even doing those things, I'm at 8-20 because I ordered 6-26.Mr MacNabbit said:

Of course Apple is famous for it. I order the afternoon of June 9 thinking that I'd at least get mine the same time as the other people who ordered it that day, hey I expected a month or more wait, but to get it after people who ordered days after me, that's just really messed up... it better ship next week or I'm going to phone Apple, again.
