European markets. The iPhone 7 suffered disappointing sales in Europe’s biggest market, the UK and this was put down to the loss of headphone jack and rising prices. People are keeping phones longer and right now the price is a very important factor.

I would say that's a similar effect to the United States as well. Some are not upgrading this year due to the price point of the iPhone X, even though they want it. So in theory, they're likely saving or planning for the future for next years iPhone X, assuming it's in their financial means to do so.

I think the Brexit price increase was more of a factor than the headphone jack, overall ip7 outsold previous years ip6s worldwide.

Well it’s was Apples Brexit tax that killed the hype for the iPhone 7 I agree. Other manufacturers resisted the urge to capitalise in the short term which meant Apple lost out here. It’s worth noting though that sales in Europe dipped in 2015 too so not entirely down to Brexit. I expect the same to happen this year.

I don't hate apple -but I did not buy/won't a new iphone this year like I would have had they come out with something in a reasonable price range or that was not different enough from the 3 year old iphone I already have - and I use the headphone jack- so the phone I have is better for me I rather than wanting more cords or different headphones.
