I’m gonna be honest, I’m not a naysayer and I actually like it a lot. I won’t be buying it this generation and will be holding onto my 17 Pro Max until at least next year, BUT the one thing I don’t like about the Duo is actually the design. Not the functionality, the design.

I think it looks great when it’s unfolded, but when it’s folded it looks kinda dated and ugly, relatively speaking. I don’t like the one-side-rounded, one-side-squared look, and the cameras just look out of place and somehow make it look dated already.

It kinda reminds me of the first Samsung Galaxy Fold. Even when it was released, I thought it looked like a prototype, and now if you compare it to the latest foldables, it really does look ugly.

I think the same applies to the Duo. It’s really cool and awesome, but it’s just not beautiful IMO. At least not when it’s closed.

Maybe it will be abandoned as an experiment, but call me an experimenter. I'll give it a shot for a year and see how I feel afterwards.
I think I agree. The current iPhone Pro is tedious beyond belief. We’ve had this for nearly a decade. I’m bored. I will try the Duo, it may be great, may be crap. But at least I’ll have a couple of months of exploration, rather than getting an iPhone Pro which is exactly like I had before….

Oh wow, I didn’t even consider that. I’m tall and have giant feet but can wear GapKids gloves, so that’s also a negative for me. 😂

Honestly, this is the case for me for anything bigger than the iPhone mini (small hands with short stubby fingers). Hence, I'm fine with the Duo's size since I need to use all current phones 2-handed anyway.

Small-handed folks unite!
