Respectfully, I completely disagree with the bolded in your statement. That's called logical fallacy. Just because what you read on the Internet And talk to others around you, does not indicate (Or 'Confirm') anything of Apple "Lowering" their quality standards. I could make the same argument that all of my Apple devices have been stellar in quality since owning them, and I purchase Apple products across the board and Have had zero issues with my Apple Watches, iPads, iPhones, AirPods, Macs, etc.
You can choose what you want to believe, but clearly you're experiences is not that of everybody else's. I understand you're upset as you said in your post, but it seems you're putting emotion over logic with a statement like that. Furthermore, there is no evidence to know Apple has lowered their quality standards just because what you deem necessary to believe of a tech forum. The argument goes both ways.
For the record, this is not me defending Apple just because of what you said. I'm defending Apple-based of my own experiences to know but they have not lowered their quality standards. And I have enough involvement with Apple to say that with having plenty of experience with their devices.
Lastly, if everything was perfectly fine with your devices and someone else was complaining, you likely wouldn't see it as Apple has quality standards. Its because you're experiencing defective products, it changes your view point because you're upset, in which case you're using emotion to vent your frustration, but don't interject other anecdotal experiences on the Internet/others around you to make a statement that "Apple is raising the prices proportionally to decrease in quality." There is no validity behind that statement, and quite frankly, you have no metric proving otherwise.
First, there is no logical fallacy because I did not say "confirm" but "seems to confirm", which indicates my perception of the issue, not an absolute statement. I agree though I could have phrased this better.
There is obviously no way for any of us to know whether QC has increased, decreased or maintained. But we can make guesses from ours and others experiences. In this regard, it is not the fact that I read complaints on internet or when I talk to others, but the fact that such complains keep increasing. You can argue it is because Apple is reaching a larger market. That would be a valid point, as it is harder to maintain the same QC when you scale as massively as Apple is doing. The problem is that with a larger expansion has come also a steady increase in prices. If that would have been invested in maintaining a decent QC both effects would approximately balance each other. That was not the case in my opinion and why, again in my opinion, "Apple is raising the prices proportionally to the decrease in quality.". Because problems seem to increase proportionally with the market expansion. This is my metric. Again, it is very difficult to quantify this, and it is my perception. I am not trying to convincing anyone.
Third, the previous statement about internet and other people was to indicate that my observations are not restricted to my personal experiences. Those upset me, yes. Because, if the QC was indeed decent, the repeated coincidence of "bad" devices across different product would be very small. And the probability that many other people (as many as there seem to be) have the very same issue, would be negligible. So no, I am not putting emotions over logic. I am upset because the logic tells me that what is happening to me and other would be extremely unlikely if things where done properly.
Finally, you say that you could reverse all the statements and, that since all your product are fine then the QC is fine, and also that the argument about what internet "says" can go both ways. That is not true. Your case and those of people saying their products are fine should be the norm. The statements cannot be reversed, because the probability of having an ok product and one that is not are not comparable, with the latter supposedly being much much smaller than the former. Of course, one has to take into account that people that are happy do not complain, so internet gives a louder voice to those that have problems. But, still, the problem is that I observe an increase of these kind of complaints.
Anyway, I am glad that all your Apple product do not have any problems. That is the way they are supposed to be. I wish I could enjoy them as much, because, QC aside, I have always been quite happy with the user experience with the products.
