So my e-books disappeared from my iPad after the update last night.

They are on iBooks on the Mac, but on my iPad device it's pretty much a blank window.

When I go into iTunes to try to sync them back, they don't show up in the syncing window for books.

Were you given the option to turn on iCloud Sync for iBooks? In which case, what did you choose?

On the ipad or on the macbook? I can't remember having been given that option, but I might be wrong. Where can I turn it on?

I recommend anyone experiencing this doing a forced restart by holding down the home button and the power button until you see the apple logo.

Now I have all my books synced over icloud, ALSO pdf's and books not bought in iBooks.

Happy days :)
