I have to say I had a bad time with the instant sale - I sent a 3gs that was in perfect condition, Was in a case its whole life, minus two small scratches on the apple logo on the back and they only offered $55.00 - I was quoted 150.00 at the time I sent it in. Note I Had all the original accessories still wrapped and never used.
Needless to say they did sent it back and I did get back eventually - issue is by the time I got back the value had drastically dropped for the 3gs. I ended up keeping it.

I sent mine in about 4-5 days ago, FedEx said it was delivered, and I haven't gotten any confirmation or payment from them yet. Getting a little nervous that my phone got lost in the sauce.
Are you kidding? They probably charge extra if they have to remove it. I always remove everything first.
I used eBay instant sale to sell my iP4 16gb AT&T model the morning of Spet 14 right after I preordered, I got an offer for $210. For me, that was the sweet spot as it covered my new iP5, which in reality is what I wanted anyway!
Phone was in okay shape, but functioned great. Funny thing though I told me friend, he tried the instant sale just yesterday for the same model phone i turned in, the offer he got was $140, so the price has dropped.
But the experience was great. The entire process with shipping was about 5 days before I got the money in my PayPal!
I'd use this again in the future to sell my old phones....way easier than CL or sell outright through eBay yourself and all the fees and shipping and potential buyer hassels...!

Yup! shipped my iPhone4 32 GB on the 28th and according to Fedex, it's supposed to be delievered by today.
eBay instant sale seems the way to go. It saves you the eBay fee, listing fee, shipping price fee, PayPal fee and the actual shipping price.
That's a whole lot of fees.
This is what mine currently says. Any idea how long it takes to get assessed and paid from here? Should I contact them? I'm starting to get a little nervous after reading the post above about someone getting their offer drastically lowered despite the device being in good condition.

edit i just did it for you since i'm nice like that, you'd get $58.43 for it. Being as it is so old and basically way old tech, you're better off keeping it or throwing it at a wall!
of course, you can say ahead of time, if they dont agree to the price once sent to the, they'll just ship it back
I will be using them most definitely once I locate a i5 for me and my wife. It's crazy because Gamestop has managed to drop the value of a 16GB 4S by $70 in a weeks time and I'm sure it will only get worse. EIS still has it @ $265 for a 16GS 4S and $153 for a 4.
Same here I tried calling them no answer, emailed them it's only been a day but no answer so far. Let me know if you get an update here's mine.

I sold my white iPhone 4 16gb (verizon) to eBay and got an offer of $190.00. They received it on 9/28 around 145p and I got a response that the money was deposited into my paypal account on 10/1/12 around 9pm (pst)... just to give you guys a timeframe.

If you are a seller and you sell to a guy, and the dude rips you off, there very little recourse for you to get your item back. I lost $2500 macbook pro I sold 3 yrs ago. I'm still bitter.
