Pretty much the opposite corner of the country (San Diego), and I'm also not seeing Look Around in the maps. Supposedly it'll show a binoculars symbol in the upper right corner, under the (i) and arrow (go to my location) buttons. Not seeing it here.

i do already miss 3D touch though. I’m sure I’ll acclimate but I do miss how it worked before.

Except it's not disabled all together or even close to it. It's still there, but some aspects of it have been modified to be more in line with how things are done with Haptic Touch, while other aspects are still basically the same as they were before.basically it’s disabled all together
you now just place and hold your finger for a “long press” to do the same functionality.
