Just based on the youtube video, not that impressed with this case. Looks like a less functional but beautiful apple bumper. I guess the price has a part to do with it. Maybe if it was a 34.99 case or something, I wouldn't judge it as harshly.

In real world, it just doesn't seem to have the "wow!" factor that it does in the render pics. 
Most of the time, I think black is sexy and sleek, but in this instance, probably because the phone is black, it takes away something from the phone I'm afraid. Although, the orange didn't do much for it either. Sigh.

Overpriced bumper. Elementcase had a nice idea with this but didn't think it all the way through. For the base case ($80) totally not worth it as it offers almost no protection for the front/back. The carbon fiber sticker is a joke. Having the ports fit nearly none of the 3rd party devices is lame. For $30, this case would be okay. For $80? No chance. I'll wait for the cheap knock offs of this and get one of those; even if it's made of plastic/TPU. It'll still be a better bargain than this thing is.
What an absolute joke. The headphone jack is way too recessed and the lock button design is insane at best. If the lock button issue is not rectified then this is without a doubt major fail. As for the dock, it's not as bad as I thought it would be but still could be another dealbreaker.

Doesnt protect, crappy carbon fiber backing, very expensive...this is going to be a no from me. Maybe if they revise the case into something worth $80-$100, but this current product is a disappointment.
I was really wanting to like this bumper and I was willing to pay for it. After the video it is a big no go. The sleep awake button not be accessible is the only reason I don't like it, and could not buy one.

If that carbon plate doesn't offer any more protection than my SGP ultra matte than I won't pit it on. I really dig how the SGP looks and feels. Plus it doesn't cover up the Apple symbol : ) I still love the looks of the bumper
The only negative thing I have to say about the SGP so far is it's really hard to tell if you have any lint under it until it is totally dry do to the matte finish. I'm really hesitant to pull up the corner at this stage in the game to remove lint. It would prolly wreck it.

That was a mistake, they are overnighting him a new one w/ the button today.

In his review, Larry remarks that there isn't much "lay on the table" protection. Is it enough? Isn't this one of the primary reasons to have a bumper?
