warranty on these cases..

so I was just looking around element case website and found this:


"Element Case warrants to the original owner, that any Element Case should be free of any manufacturers defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 months from date of purchase."

So since my CC was charged on July 12th.. .and I have most likely way more time to wait.. let say another month.. is that mean I will have left only about 1.5 month of warranty, since date of purchase is July 12th? Damn.. sounds as good as all the info released by the company so far :)

wow when all this dies down i will definitely call in and voice my concern about that. Its already going into my second month and i haven't even received this damn case. :mad:

No! Not until I see people using these things - and having a functional phone at the same time. AKA no signal bombification while inside that computer numerically control-cut faraday cage. :D

Only then, will my tinfoil hat be put back into the closet.... for now.... ;)

And again, I reiterate, if your box is late - they DID ship it - here's the tracking info.
 
I'm thinking some people might actually receive their cases tomorrow -- so in anticipation I thought I would post my list of burning questions:

How are the aesthetics? Does it add much bulk to the phone?

How does it feel in the hand?

How hard is it to put the case together? To take it apart? Could a case fetishist like myself -- someone who likes to switch around -- be happy with this? Or is it really designed to stay on the phone at all times?

What is the impact on reception? Without carbon back? With carbon back?

Does the carbon back leave a residue once removed? How hard is it to put on?

Does the carbon back interfere with the camera flash?

Does the case seem protective at all? What about the carbon?

Are you in love? (with the case, I mean!) Or is your verdict "meh" or even "jeeZUS get it OFFA my PHONE!

I need all this because even if mine ships tonight I am not likely to receive it before going on vacation -- so help me out!

Does it have a motor, does it have a motor?


Actually, the only issue I think some will have is that there's not much of an edge protrusion on the front to protect the go-rilla glass from a flat fall/flat-ish surface set down.

That and having to fight off all the ladies who want to be next to you & yer Vapor4.

One more: - the shock absorbing thingamajig, does it even exist? (Nobody has seen it yet!)
