Actually you'll need this one to keep the Vapor from getting scratched. I have one and hope the Vapor fits inside.

Are you getting one with the carbon fiber because I'm wondering what it is really like from what I hear it is has a adhesive back which sticks onto the back of the phone which I imagine uses the adhesive similar to a screen protector which leaves no residue if removed and I'm wondering if it is actual carbon fiber or it's just a screen protector with a carbon fiber design
I've been a long time element customer so I was able to figure this out. Element is way too classy to make something adhesive - it's an insert plate that the frame holds in place from what I hear. We will know in about 10 hours. I'm on this like flies on rice.
Sorry, I didn't have a Zagg this time it was a Body Guardz. It installed like a dream but I can't believe the corner peeled off after a couple of days. Lint got under it and made it useless. I put the SGP matte on tonight and it was a good install too. Looking forward to seeing how it looks when the haze clears up.
We will be updating our website soon. The change will reflect the many different colors the Vapor case will be available in, including the blk/blue in addition to customization and a "stealth" version (no Vapor logo). We're still defining the custom laser engraving as to where or what useable space on the Vapor case will allow space for etching, etc. Once we determine that and build jigs to hold the case (during the laser etching process), then we will put the service on our site.
We using a 2ply 2x2 twill carbon fiber that is epoxy resin infused..approx .015" thick with a 3M dbl back adhesive on it. You peel off the backing and adhere it to the back of the iPhone (glass). The adhesive is NOT permanent so the carbon fiber backplate is removeable and totally independent of the Vapor case. (ie. you do not have to remove the Vapor case before you remove the carbon fiber)
