Oh thank goodness they said that was "orange" because I don't like that as much as the "yellow" case. I want a pic of the "real" yellow case. Horrible review. Need one from a forum member!
The problem that will arise will be signal issues however.. I could care less about the dock as well, but signal I do care about! lol
Dude whatever. It might be unbiased but it doesn't mean that the person reviewing it has a credible opinion. Jeremy Horwitz is a piece of trash writer. He makes destructive statements with no explanation or arguments to support it.
What the hell are you talking about? He was given a product to use, and he explained why the product was bad...what more do you want? Signal tests and proof that the phone with the case wont fit in the dock? perhaps a detailed ten page report with pictures and math problems?
crap review and crap cellphone camera pics...looks dope still...glad this thing is coming to market and its customers...can't wait to get mine. I'll add some more foam padding and with my BSE side protection it should be perfect.

exactly. it looks almost like alumiunum can material and it looks like it has rough insides (note the orange one those gray colored pieces inside). Could be just the pics. But I seriously do not feel it looks like the renders nor worth $80 retail price. They should have taken more macro shots of the thing. That carbon fiber back looks funny, especially around the cam hole. $20? no way.
majority of cases are junk cuz they dont fit in the dock designed for a naked phone?
well considering that I have 5 bars and a strong signal, I'll take my chances.
Mods to vapors after first batch
Before everyone goes ballistic - iLounge always rips apart Element products. There are another dozen or so reviews coming from people who will spend more than five minutes pulling something out of a box and writing a few nasty lines about it.
Also, I have it on good authority that EC did a tweak to the vapor designs going to customers that both fixes any signal interference and includes more padding on the inside of the frame.

I don't have the bar issue. I have broke the back on mine twice though...
The reviewer complanied about tiny screws and a wrench.
1. Small screws are better than big ones.
2. Most screws and bolts require some type of driver/wrench to operate. I learned that when I was two.

Yeah, the review seems that the case is flawed. iLounge does good reviews too..
I don't think they do very good reviews. That really wasn't even a review, it was like the person spent 10 minutes with the case and rushed to write something. I'm sure the case will be fine but it's going to have a hard time living up to our expectations and hype over the last month.
And he couldn't even figure out how to put the carbon back on. I'll wait for forum member reviews...

hmmmmmm glad i got blk/blk... didnt know the color was only on one side....
yes im still waiting, 2 emails on tues, with tracking but no record of usps procssing the box yet.... does it really take 3 days to put a case in a box and drop it off at the mailbox???

Element sure was cheap on the foam.. you would think they'd line the whole inside with it..
lOOks sick for sure, even with the additional dust particles added. There maybe room to to add a very thin skin around the circumference of the iPhone before the install of the vapor for added insulation, but maybe not

Why not wait till some have the phone before you trash it. If your not interested in the phone or don't like it that's fine but you don't need to be negative here.
I ordered black/red on July 4th and my slug is #44XX and it still says: Awaiting Fulfillment..
The initial review was poor. But that aside, the real life pictures make it look like a cheap end product and not the sleek, beautiful piece of art that the renders portrayed. From what I can see, definitely not worth $80 for the bumper case and $20 for that back skin.
