I like it, maybe when the diamondback comes out we can see which one ends up being the preferred case. The element case has grown on me and I have seen some diamondback pics and its pretty sharp too. Guess we will see in a couple of weeks. I am glad they finally got the signal problems and stuff worked out with the pro.

Where did you get the carbon fiber one with the apple logo cut out? I have a black and red vapor case but the carbon fiber doesn't have the apple logo. Can't you tell me where you got yours? thanks!

I got mine, it was a dealer on ebay. Anyone else have signal issues ever since getting it? Maybe I have it screwed on too tight lol.

thanks I have one from element, but I want the apple logo to show haha.

Just a heads up, the Element one is actually carbon fiber so it is a solid piece that sticks on. The Lucky Labs are literally stickers. With that said, the fact that the Lucky Labs ones are matte finished and not shiny, to me they look better even though they are just a sticker. They don't show scratches at all and seem durable.

Only use them as scratch protection though. Drops or actual hits from something will and can mess up the back. They are only a skin after all.

Just received my Blackops yesterday and have been testing since. I will give my overall impressions in a day or two but so far I am impressed. The packaging is great and well thought out. The case is much better in every area in terms of signal, GPS and wifi and overall feel to me is better also. I will use it for the next few days and do a full review but if your willing to pay 90 or 100 for a regular vapor, I would suggest going ahead and paying a little extra and getting a pro. I may wait and do a comparison with the new Diamondback. It should be here pretty quick.

Would be really interested in what you come up with the Signal app (cydia) with and without the case on. We had issues, so my friend sent his back.

I have two Verizon iphones and I have compared them, one with the Vapor pro and one with the Atomic Hybrid and you will be surprised. I am not jailbroken and I don't plan on it just for this. The bars on the phones will show everything.

Here are the pictures of the Vapor Pro Blackops edition. I will post of some comparison pictures later but this case is a very good performing case. Its probably the best case out of any case I have ever tested or used. I have owned the regular Vapor, Atomic Hybrid(which I tested this case against), e13ctron, the Blade, the Fusion Raw and the Alumacase. I have also used the Apple bumper as well. But I performed a wifi test, 3G test and a sitting still gps test which I took pictures of. But here are some pics, I hope to have the Atomic Diamondback soon to test and I think it will perform well also. I have some ACTUAL pictures of that case but I will not post those yet. I will wait until I get the finished product. But here you go.

Here are some pictures of my phone with the Vapor pro installed next to my wife's phone with the Atomic Hybrid installed. All test were done at the same time in the exact same place.

I also went on a 10 mile drive and the Vapor Pro followed me perfectly. It locked onto my location instantly and I never had a problem with it after that. I kept up and followed my with every turn I made. It performed just as well and sometimes better than the Atomic Hybrid which really surprised me. I know this case is not for everyone and its pretty pricey and honestly I think from what I have seen, the Diamondback may have this case beat on looks depending on your taste but they will both be the same price so it will probably come down to your personal preference.

I have (what i believe to be, got it off ebay for $9) a element carbonfiber back plate. it is super cool expect it is glossy and shows finger prints and scratches easily.

do you think it would be feasible to lighlty sand blast it to make it a matte finsish or would this cloud it to where it wouldnt look like carbon fiber anymore?

Thats just it, the bars dont show the real story.....when we did the comparo between Vapor Pro and Naked phone (and Atomic Hybrid), the number of bars shown were pretty much the same (they varied but we took the best readings), but we got readings of -99dB (best) vs -82dB (vs -81dB) respectively. The old Vapor4 was also approximately -99dB at the same location. The Vapor pro's best reading was -99 dB with Signal, most of the readings were actually worse.

I have been testing cases for almost a year now and I can tell you that this case does not perform like any aluminum case I have tried. I have watched my two phones for the past 2 days and I can tell you that I am getting as good or better with the pro then what I did with the hybrid. I tried the first pro and that was not the case. So honestly I don't need db readings to tell how this case is performing. When I am getting more bars the the hybrid and my 3G speeds are the same or better and my gps is working then all I can say is element figured it out. There is no other tests to try or anything else to compare it to. Even if I jail break and download the app where I can see db's its only going to confirm what I am already seeing. I'm by far a fan of element but this is a solid case. It's expensive but it works good and has a great feel so I am sold.

What is the app to download after jailbroken to show db's? I jailbroke this morning but I can't find it.

Ok here are the pics. Exact same phone used in the test. I took pictures with the case on, then took it off and took some more naked and then put the case back on and as you can see the results did not vary that much. I think less than 5 db's total so like I said earlier. This case does not affect signal, wifi or gps.
