That yellow piece looks like kaka! Why the eff would they do that to a nice looking case. making it clear would have been a better choice. IMHO
I saw that a BlackOps versio of Pro ,coming with a longer plastic (orange) parts that a FirstEdition model ....on EC site,it same , but look those picture

did you buy from elementcase.com ?
or maybe you get a "fake" one ?
seriously it looks terrible in my opinion, the one at their website is much better looking. no pun intended.

That case is definately different from what's shown on the website. Here's a pic from their website.
See how the yellow portion takes up less than 1/2 of the black portion before the volume buttons? Now look back at the other pic, and it takes up way more than 1/2 that space. Very odd...

With some of the parts they used to make the pro I don't think I would want a knockoff. I would either want the real thing or something else. Their is no way someone could make a GOOD knockoff of this case with the way the plastic insert is in there and the material they used on the inside since its no longer just foam. Plus its got that electrostatic coating. So I would either buck up and buy the real thing or get something else completely.
and after all that "designing" it still screws up the signal, congrats Element
Oh, and now its twice as expensive too,![]()
I never have problems with the signal on the vapor pro i just sell it to buy the black ops case and love it 0 problems with signal and gps i have varios alluminium cases electron drop 1 bar of signal the blade 3 bars and atomic not drop but i don liked very much and sell it and the best its the pro not problems with it
That's really the best pic you got?
I just wanted to give some props to the CS at Element case. Long story short, I ordered the Vapor pro, got it and didn't have any signal issues but I did notice that there was a paint issue on the case where the 2 halves met. I contacted CS and Chris at Element was a great help. I sent my case back and in the process of waiting for the replacement case....... the Black Ops case came out. So I figured I'd ask if I could exchange for the Black Ops. There was no problem in doing the exchange. So upon receiving the replacement it went right back to them and in about a weeks time I received the Black Ops. During the whole process there was constant emails that were responded to in a timely manner and I was informed and updated with everything going on with the exchange. I had asked Chris about the issues some people on here were having with the CS at Element and he stated that as long as you had an "order number" with them that there would be no probems and that the only problems they had were customers that had purchase knock offs from others that they could do nothing about since they were never purchased from them directly. I can say that I didn't have any problems with them whatsoever during the whole process. So with that said on to the case. The reason that the Polymer piece is bigger I was told was due to the fact that they had to make the case work with both the GSM and CDMA versions of the phone and the antenna was located in a different area on phone so they made the piece longer. I do have to say that I have had no problems with GPS, Wifi, or reception issues with this case. I do live in an area with pretty good cell service but I did use it around town in some places where the service wasn't so great and the signal was comparable to my in-law's phone which was naked. I will post some pics with the case on and off but I only have an old Cyber-shot camera so the pics might not be the greatest but the important info is shown in the pics. I am using the case with no wraps and just a Lucky Lab carbon fiber textured skin on the back. I just wanted to post this since the company gets so much bad press on here and I wanted to let people know that there are some people that are happy with there product and have working phones as well.
