The price point should been a dead give away, the old saying if its too good to be true...
I think this will be my last question on the subject.
How does the finish hold up on the Vapor Pro, does it scratch easily? Any corrosion or imperfections start appearing.
In contrast of the Vapor Pro, does the "satin" finish of the black ops resist scratches better?
I'm still cannot decide, I like the matte finish of the black ops, but I like the looks of the red/black vapor pro. I also like the all back look of the black ops as well.

I would believe the Satin finish gives it better scratch protection. On my vapor extreme metals case consisting of both finish, the glossy part of the case has more scratches then the matte. So far, I've also not had any scratch on my Black Ops case. And I don't baby my stuff.

I am actually wondering the same thing too regarding the wear off of the case. Particulary, the vapor pro spectra line. Anyone with the colour combination want to shed some light? I mean did you get lots of scratch with the silver/silver vapor pro? Did the clear plastic component break? Lol. Or something like that? Does it still look brand new after 2-3weeks of use? Under extream care or total carelessness? how is it all holding together?

I don't think so. I was really tempted by the red and black but I think the finish and look of the all black case will look and feel sharp.
That was my problem, I just ordered black ops because of the feedback in this thread. The finish appears to be a bit more durable and I think the look of the back satin finish is going to be sharp.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of those choices.
hum the extreme metals will give you signal issues because its the vapor 4 design. The blackops is much better.
The Extreme metals is based on the vapor 4 model and being such, you'll have signal issues. The Vapor Pro Black Ops is based off the Vapor Pro design so it largely eliminates the signal problem with the exception of GPS which some users have reports a reduction in accuracy.
And chris975d has reported that the knockoff version he purchased from Aliexpress (with transparent corner part) has no signal issues whatsoever, even the GPS signal is good. Cant wait to get mine

Here are a few quick photos of the "knock off" Vapor Pro Spectra from my above link. I have taken a bunch more photos for my "review" of the two, but will post the rest some time tomorrow. But these give an indicator of the quality of the case. The black/silver Vapor Pro in the first picture is a genuine Element piece, the orange/gunmetal is the knock off.
