Not me, I had great service with Atomic, and 100% horrible with smelliment case.

Yes i tested navi this time on the cr24, no problems at all and immediately lock on. sorry to post on this thread but responding to the above posts.

exactly what atomiciphonecase.com did...never had less than 100% signal anywhere

but atomic's design is 3/4 plastic 1/4 aluminum... im talking about 1/4 plastic (left side only - antenna part) then the top and bottom and right side will be aluminum...i think that would still look awesome and would still hold up its strength.

Atomic against Element is not even comparable on the two cases. Design, material, feel, looks and everything else. The Element wins this case hands down.

Splitting hairs...the atomic delrin looks and feels like matte metal...has anyone that is dissing them here every really seen one?...I have owned both...go back to page 1 and start reading...or just go get theelement and watch your gps fail in fringe areas...your choice...

Actually yes, owned both element and atomic. Delrin does NOT look like matte aluminum, it looks like cheap plastic cut out of a mold, mine had rough edges, little tags hanging off, it looked like it had been punched out of a mold, not machined. I even exchanged for a second one, and same thing. It bows like crazy, and has minimal strength. Cheap POS for me.

That's not mine at all... Will post pics when i get home fri...no where near looks like cheap plastic...

Why argue with him, Glen E is the resident atomic fan boy, they can do no wrong despite the pages and pages of horrible customer service and deception to their customers. No company is perfect, not element, not atomic, not even beloved apple.

i just suggested a new design that might help eliminate the signal issues.
now people are discussing other brand...

I just got an email from element and they have 2 new cases out plus they are letting you trade in your old case for credit on a pro case.

Ha ha, they took my suggestion from a few months ago (a trade-in credit for a Vapor Pro for Vapor 4 users).

And the new stealth looks bad-ass

Do you guys think my iPhone 4 with side wraps + back protector(matte wet install) fit on the Formula 4?

which cases are better, vapor or the blade by tiger design?

I looked at both of these and the general feedback was they are good bumpers but can cause signal Barr , 3g and wifi loss.

Apparently the vapour pro is better but much more costly. I also do not like the design shape if it.

At the moment I'm using a Case mate jett that does not degrade signal. However some have reported a weakness in the case where plastic inserts are to match the antenna band. Time will tell for me. I've been using it a week without issue....... yet !

I bought a Vapor 4 but it seems like those aluminium edges will scratch the iPhone 4 even though there are rubber padding. Is this true?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

i heard there was someone in our area that experienced scratching on the aluminum band of the phone.. i bet this is an isolated case only..

I got the email for the new Comp cases and those things look so sweeeeet!
But too close to iphone 5 being released and i'm leaning towards upgrading when it does.
Please start making cases for the iPhone 5 so when it's released, the cases will be available!!! Don't wait a year to make it, just before the 6 is released!!!

If you look better on the frame you will see that this case is nice mix between a Vapor4 and vaporPro ....more then 50% desing is the same like vapor4 but have some details from vaporPro.....nice case BTW

my OEM Vapor pro
so far so good...

wifi 5/5
signal 5/5
gps 4.5/5
fitment 4/5
color and finish 5/5

not exactly "plastic" but a polycarbonate cap, more durable than plastic, and not very scratch resistant when its uncoated. But im not too keen on the subject so here is what i found on it.

"Polycarbonate is a very durable material. Although it has high impact-resistance, it has low scratch-resistance and so a hard coating is applied to polycarbonate eyewear lenses and polycarbonate exterior automotive components. The characteristics of polycarbonate are quite like those of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA, acrylic), but polycarbonate is stronger, usable in a wider temperature range but more expensive. This polymer is highly transparent to visible light and has better light transmission characteristics than many kinds of glass."

BUT I think ElementCase just really stepped their game up with these. I for one am glad I didn't do the "Return your old elementcase Promotion" that ended yesterday I was about to drop $100 on a VaporPro ($50 off of $150), but since I held out, I will buy one of these new Comps and sell the old ones on EBAY! hurray for being smart!

I was about ready to give the Pro another shot with that trade in offer too. Glad I held out.

I had issues with the Pro and the GPS not working correctly at all so I returned it. I don't travel for work anymore so GPS isn't a deal breaker so I was about to pull the trigger.

The COMP looks good. I like the outline and shape more than the Pro. Covered buttons look good too as well as the clear cap. I like the more Vapor 4 outline. The Pro always looked a little odd to me. The interior liner that fills the holes on the side that were on the Pro is a good addition. I'm sure it will add some needed grip and hopefully adds a little actual protection.

I'm not upgrading to the iPhone 5 right off the bat after the antenna fiasco from the 4 so I'm ok spending the $99 on this. After the $165 I got for my Lifeproof (that guy was nuts for paying that much for such such a low quality case) I can spend some more on a new case.

I need a change from my typical Survivor/Candyshell rotation. Been wanting a new bumper. I think I'm going to use an ImpactBand until the Vapor COMP comes in. I always like that bumper despite the minor issues.
