is this a safe website to buy? No paypal available, they want my credit card number...

I contacted Element Case about being out of stock on the white Vapor Pro and when they will have more in stock. Thought their reply was interesting.

We are getting ready to announce a new white Pro and Comp soon. Maybe next week.
Make sure you get on our email list to receive the latest news such as new product announcements and
discounts.

Remember that iPhone 4 cases might not fight the 4S due to the movement of the mute switch and volume buttons.

i am guessing that plastic piece on the side is to help with signal lose?

i wonder if those volume buttons would annoy me being so far in .. i wish they added buttons to it like they did with the power buttons to make them the same level as the case

yea it surrounds the deathgrip area of the antenna

Is it me or does it look like the white is chipping off on some of those photos?

yea, will have to wait and see if the one i ordered does or not!

is this site legit? there are a lot of sites posted that look shady and I wanted to ask.

who knows, i will only be able to confirm this when or if i get it delivered to me. If it goes without a hitch i will be sure to get a few more in different colours!

I got Vapor COMP Stealth (Black/Red) in the mail yesterday and it looks very, very nice. It's surprisingly light-weight, but -- then again -- I've never had an aluminum case. Don't have my iPhone 4S yet, so haven't tried the fit.

Despite higher price, "stealth" versions of COMP are a better deal than regular ones if you don't need a suede backplate. With "stealth", you get a matte carbon fiber backplate (+$19.99) and a travel case (+9.99).

FYI, if you can't find some products in stock (e.g. stealth COMPs are not in stock) on Element Case's site, you can check out their eBay store (elementcaseinc). That's who I ordered my case from since I had some eBay Bucks and, at the time, main site didn't offer free S&H (eBay stores gives free USPS Priority Mail shipping).

P.S. I don't hang out on MacRumors alot, but I'm rather taken aback by open discussions of knock-off Vapors. It's bad enough fakes are out there -- it can't be stopped, but there's no need to popularize them.

I'm sure, Element Case could lower prices significantly by outsourcing overseas, but they invested money in R&D, design, and manufacturing over here, so shouldn't we support them instead of a nameless Asian factory that, for all we know, makes Foxconn seem like paradise?

Need some pics!

I personally am not a huge fan of the clear plastic side on the Comp Stealth, but I've been thinking about a Pro Stealth if my e13ctron doesn't work out.

Took some pics of the case with my Epic 4G's camera. In person, it looks very much like photos on official site except red is slightly darker and more appealing, IMHO.

P.S. I'm also in Houston! :)

I would totally support American made, but you have to be kidding yourself if I'm going to spend $150 dollars on a case for a phone I will only have one year til the 5 comes out.

I could buy an otterbox to really protect my phone, but the truth of the matter is Element really makes the best looking cases. And if anyone who really spends 150 bucks for an accessory then they probably have money to burn which I don't. I have rent/bills etc, so $20 dollars for a case that looks and feels exactly the same,...thank you China :D
