I got my Vapor case today, The reception problem is worse then people are claiming. I was really looking forward to this awesome looking case. Unfortunately it's been giving me problems with GPS,BT and Reception. I'm really disappointed considering how long I had to wait for it.
Sorry guys I wish I could give you better news. I hope it's not a common issue.

Keep in mind Rukawa11 i've only had it for 6 hrs. To answer your question the calls themselves are a bit choppy, but i will deal with it. The case sure does look good on the phone. I hope this helps
Placed my vapor order on Friday got a shipping notice today I am hoping it's not one of those tracking number that isn't updates for weeks.
Just as an experiment, I stopped by my local Wal-Mart today and picked up a Wrapsol Ultra total phone shield (the dry application) because I wanted to see if adding material between the antenna and Vapor would have any effect. The Wrapsol Ultra dry shield is a VERY thick shield (when applied to the sides of the antenna it's almost thick enough to be as tall as the volume and power/sleep buttons, and when putting on the Vapor, the shield gets visibly compressed, as you have to force the Vapor closed to screw it together. To my complete surprise, it's seemed to help my reception dramatically! My data speeds (via SpeedTest app) are virtually identical at home and at work with and without the Vapor on (you can reference an earlier post of mine in this thread for how badly it cut data speeds before), and my bluetooth headset doesn't loose its range like it did without the Wrapsol installed between the phone and Vapor. Before I couldn't move but maybe 5-6 feet at max away from the phone with my bluetooth earpiece without it going completely static-y (with Vapor installed). I've been using this set-up for an entire day, and it's actually made the Vapor usable. I'm going to try this out for at least another day (since I'm sure Element will take forever to respond to my refund request anyway), and I'll keep reporting back here with anything that I find. It's sad that buying a $20 accessory for an $80 case might be what it takes to make it usable. Then again....for a lot of people, they are having to buy a $30+ case to make a $600+ phone usable!
It took from Aug 4th (when I first got my tracking number) until Aug 12th before Element actually got the package to the post office for shipment. So you may have up to a week wait before they actually ship your package. Look back in this thread at the response I was sent by Element as to why your tracking number my take a while before it shows up at the post office. They are generating shipping labels before the product is actually ready to be shipped.

Finally a reply from these goof balls and after multiple e-mails asking why my Case has not shipped even though I was an early adopter.
"Regarding your order, it looks like you were part of a small number of customers who registered and paid for their order but didn't have an order form created. We do have a couple of options here. You can send me which case you wanted, and I can send it out to you as soon as possible, or I can just refund your money.

Come on....you know you gotta feel that slick cold metal in your hands just once before you send it back. After all this time you have to know what it's like. It would suck to bump in to a friend who has a Vapor and realize that you love it...................Just a though. I know Element sucks!

I have visited your mention URL. But I could not found it. They demand to register first. Have you any other link from where I can see the picture, I want to see it and I had no idea why they are exposed to the SIM card slot.
Not sure what link you are referring to. But if it is Element Case website or their online store, be aware, the actual case does not look like their advertised renders or the one real promo photograph. There are different cutout and sleep button designs, extra logos and different final finishes.
YouTube it. Or ask them for up to date photographs before placing your order. Not that they will provide you with any, of course! If they wanted to be honest with their customers, they would have at least removed those old prototype renders by now.
Meh, I'm not that into it. My case motto: signal is sexy.
I have an LTDTools case on the way. Designer says no signal issues that they see -- and no customer service issues for info/returns.
But Pixelskin HD will finish it for me ... until Veriphone.
I'd buy EC design if they could make it out of Maccasar ebony.
Vapor4 GPS issues
I've had the case since Friday. It looks and feels beautiful and it hasn't caused any problems with dropped calls, but both Navigon and Waze have had problems with the GPS signal, whereas without the case I didn't have issues. I've written to ElementCase about it and hope to hear back soon. Unfortunately if its something that cannot be fixed it's a major problem for me.

I don't think most people understand what that number from USPS is. It is NOT a tracking number. It is an order confirmation number. It is to confirm the receipt of the delivery of the item. Please people, understand what that number is and the purpose.
I use USPS for all my shipping. They are pretty good at scanning packages in, I'd say 95% get scanned in when they get to the PO. If you see no movement, they haven't dropped it off yet (Element).

Can someone who is experiencing signal problems try adding electrical tape to the inside of the vapor case to see if it alleviates the signal bars and the GPS location.
If it does help, which I assume it will if the problem lies in the proximately of the case to the iphone antenna, it would be an easy upgrade for a V3 case.
