I've never heard of two versions. I can't find anything stating "Extreme Metal".

Element Vapor Case

I've never heard of two versions. I can't find anything stating "Extreme Metal".
Please link or describe where it can be found.
I received an email and said my order shipped. So I went to my account and check and locate my USPS tracking number. While I am doing that, I noticed there were a "reorder" button and since I need one for my better half. When I went to the reorder page, http://www.shopelementcase.com/products/Vapor-Extreme-Metals.html page, there are 2 version. One is the regular Vapor and the other is more expensive version, $99 Extreme. I went ahead and order the Extreme. See below.
Now, after you asked me I went back and I do not see the page live anymore 😕 not sure why....

Yes, it was there when I ordered and there were 2 color of Extreme. One is black and the other is silver. Both look the same as the current model and the silver one seems a bit shiny to me. Also, on the black's side, there were some numbers which I've no clue what the number stands for. Now, I can't find the picture anymore form their site and inside my account. Also, I go back to history and when I reloaded to that page, it said the product is no longer available. Sorry guys!
This product does not exist at ELEMENT CASE.
Possible reasons:
* This product may have been removed from our store.
* You may have mistyped the URL to the page you were looking for.
* You may have followed an outdated or broken link from another website.
I saw this same thing, the cases looked identical but instead of where it says element case on the side it had what looked like part and model numbers. I added it to my shopping cart to order when i got home but it had been removed.
Haha, usually if i sign back in my shopping cart still has the same items in it but it was actually removed. I did click on the pictures so i'll see if i have them when i get back to work tomorrow and then i'll post them.
I did click on the picture using the same computer I am using now. If you have any ideas how to retrieve that I am all up to it.
Are you using a mac or PC? I'm assuming a mac, just go to /Users/[your account name]/Library/Caches/ then whatever browser you use to find the cached pictures.

Thats new to us? I've not seen any nickel plated cases by them?

EDIT: Your link no longer works. I assume it's gonna be one of those upgrade options they keep talking about.
This is also nickel plated, and it has a matte finish:
The finish of the plating is determined by the finish on the item before it's plated. If it has a brushed finish before plating, it'll have the same finish after, just with nickel on top of it. The finish of the golf club above is achieved by bead-blasting the carbon steel before plating, giving it a matte finish. And it wouldn't surprise me if Element has started to offer yet another product to new customers before they have even fulfilled all the orders for the first product they sold. They did this with some of the colored Vapors that they've sold to newer customers that they told the early adopters wouldn't be available until way later into production. They really can't seem to get their act together at all.
Yep there it is. Getting even steeper on the price there at 99.00. I wasn't worried about getting it removed from my shopping cart since i already have a sliver/silver vapor.
Well got my personal vapor today and it looks great and fits great also. I have a microcell in my house so I was getting good speed and signal, gps worked good, then I left home and it turned ugly. Gps, honest to god had me in another state! It never worked unless I stopped for several minutes and then it might locate me. I dropped several bars, was bouncing from 3G to edge a lot. I came home and lined the inside with 3m foam tape and I will try it again tomorrow but I honestly don't think it's going to help. Great design but when you already have a troubled antenna system, you really don't need it to be any worse.

Well I tried my case all afternoon with the tape and no luck at all.
My calls went right to voicemail without the phone even ringing. My emails wouldn't download until I hit a wifi spot. couldn't send text messages. Making a call took 20-30 secs to connect. It's turned my Iphone in to an ipod. Albeit a very attractive one. Needless to say I'm very disappointed, waiting that long for something that makes my Iphone un useable. I tested my Iphone with out case today against two other providers. I didn't know my signal was so bad. im getting up load speeds of 74 and download of 12 while both the other phones were hitting 1200 and 1400. I'm gonna check into some other options tomorrow. I guess the reality is if you have a great signal where you live it's fine but if you travel you will loose you ability to perform normal functions if the signal is a little weaker. I don't get how the foam tape is working for some and not for others. No part of my antenna is touching the inside of the case.

And I still can not believe someone bought mine on ebay for way over $100... I guess some people JUST HAVE TO HAVE IT!.. LOL
I really hope that Element Case will be out of market at some point.. I can not believe people are still buying them and risking money for something what was proved many time to simply NOT WORK!

That's not completely true. I've seen no difference with or without the case. As have many others.

It doesn't appear that "Extreme Metals" is represented. It looks to me like the silver ones are standard anodized.
