I wonder how well this would work for insulation between the case and the phone.

I'm still waiting for my case to be delivered to the UK, so I can report how I go with all the signal issues. So apart from that, not much else to say really

I know what you mean! I feel like I've really gotten to know White/Rhino, Random Person, Cynikal Mindset, SophiaLee, Peterg2, Archrider, zornet, lorenwade, asleep, troop231, SESpy and yes even Johnnybgood15. Some of us have been coming here almost every day since this bumper was announced. I still lurk - even though I didn't order when I has the chance. I still might get one someday. Still think it's beautiful. Still dream of what it could have been had it really had some spaceage insulation inside it. Sigh!
In my personal opinion it would make things alot worse. The case is already absorbing and deflecting the signal away from the antenna and that is what is causing the problem and then if you add another layer of material in there that will absorb or deflect the signal even more, you may not get any signal at all.That's what people do not understand, aluminum absorbs the signal. It also deflects it but more than anything it absorbs it. Here is a perfect analogy, for years people have complained that they could not get a cell phone signal inside a elevator but no one bothered to figure out why. Well the reason is, and I read this somewhere is that all elevators are made from some kind of metal material, aluminum, steel or whatever and that's why you can't get a signal, but the minute the door opens what always happens? Your signal comes back. These cases are no different. I have a new Atomic case coming that I am going to spend alot of time on trying to make work. It may take some case physical modifications to make it work 100 percent the way it should without having to sacrifice anything for the look but one way or another it will work. I should have it tomorrow to start messing with.
nolesfan - I am definately going to look for your review. Those cases look pretty sweet on the website. I also like the fact that you can actually order and receive your case in a timely fashion!
Yeah, GA to NC is pretty fast for shipping. I might order one of these. It's been a month and a half since I registered to pre-order thru Vapor and still haven't gotten the go ahead to order.
I do like the looks of the Vapor slightly more than the Atomic tho...I'll give it another week then I'm gonna order the violet one.
Too bad the lime one (the color I originally wanted from EC) at Atomic is really more of a mint color. Do not want. LOL
The green one is actually a pretty sweet color to be honest. I have some up close pictures of the green, its not lime green but I do think Atomic's colors are better and you have a better selection to chose from. Plus you can order a case today and it will ship tomorrow. I had an Element, they don't answer emails, phone calls or anything. I can't for the life of me figure out why people are still buying their cases! They have the worst customer service that I have ever seen and it's been proven that the case for 99% of us was more trouble than it was worth.Screw all that pre-ordering BS. Honestly, they don't have 1 case over at Element that looks as sharp as the all brushed case, or the black/gunmetal that Atomic sales. They all look good to be honest. I personally like the orange and black. But I am not much of a green fan but I actually like this green, not sure I would personally like a lime green case but hey if you do then more power to ya. That thing would glow outside that's for sure and you wouldn't have to worry about losing it.

For all the Lucky Lab fans out there, they have a new version of the spectra wrap, well kinda. I've ordered over 200 bucks worth of stuff from them over the past two months and their products are pretty consistent. the new side wrap can be added for 3 bucks more whenever you order The Teksure skin for the back. It's made out of the same material as the Teksure skin so it is a lot thicker than the spectra wrap. This may or may not help with Element case insulation but it is a lot thicker. I personally don't like it, it puts a much sharper edge around your phone so it doesn't feel as good. I do like that it's 100 times more durable than the spectra wrap but the comfort factor is throwing me off. I took a pick before I removed it.

Haha. That's really sweet. I wouldn't worry though. There are lots of cases yet to be tried. I've already got orders in for the Exogear battey case and the Innocase rough combo with slider II. I have loads more to bitch about so you don't need to worry about loosing your new pals. We are all drawn by all things Tech. kinda like roaches really. Nerds of the world unite!

MAHFAKER....I ordered the black carbon back with side pieces to match...better not be mega thick...but hey, the turn around with these guys has been super quick so I aint gonna complain about it.
Just had contact via email with Atomic Case. They state that they are located in Florida, but can collect sales tax in Georgia. Not sure how that works, or if it's even right. I've never read of it in any of our tax codes. I'm going to ask my CPA if that sounds correct.
Yeah, I have the same feeling. I just really really miss pablo and his
" interesting " picture! I got my first case and I am awaiting the rest of my orders. I have been hearing good and bad stuff about this case but I still like it besides the extra logos or the V2 modifications. The only thing I think needs improvement is the foam thing. It needs something more durable and something that can self heal like some screen protectors. I have yet to try other cases like SGP which are on the way and I have heard a lot of good stuff about the Incase Slider Case. I think I'll get that one too.

Dude, This is getting painful to watch. I ordered an Innocase Rugged combo last night from seidioonline.com and I can already track it. it will be here this Wednesday. 3 days from ordering to my door from the US.
